@Amanda, just go to the Netgalley site and click 'download mobi'. It should be a Kindle symbol.

I also have Fawkes, I was planning on reading it with Kaya next month. I like your decision to read one a week. I really need to do the same. I'm going to try for 2 a month though XD

Haha yeah handy when people keep checking back in :p

Nope we don't have a date yet, still in the air. I'm kind of taking May as it comes haha.

message 3240: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (manka23) | 2337 comments Okay yeah I will be sure to check back here or on the. Planned BR for May thread

message 3241: by Maddie (new)

Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 53686 comments Mod
Alright XD The rules for the May challenge are a little confusing, so many different ways to do it.

message 3242: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (manka23) | 2337 comments What I've tried to do was take a look at which books contain words in the first 10 lines. And then if I'm going to spell out a word I think that titles with more than one word would be best. Trying to plan as many BRS that contain words in the first 10 lines though, because that's how I figure I can get through lines the fastest.

message 3243: by Maddie (new)

Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 53686 comments Mod
Yeah, but I saw something too that uses the whole letters of the word rather than just first letters. Is that true? I'm confused XD

And can we use author names too?

message 3244: by Maddie (new)

Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 53686 comments Mod
I'm just trying to get books read that I want to read XD

message 3245: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (manka23) | 2337 comments No author names just titles. And chunks of the words are only for the chorus. So if it's not the chorus it either must contain the whole word or you spell it out with the first letter of each word of the title. I have such a large TBR that these challenges really push me to read titles that I might otherwise ignore. Honestly, I have found so many great books by participating. Also it's one book per title unless you spell it out then it's more than one. The chorus is probably the most complicated part rule wise.

message 3246: by Maddie (new)

Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 53686 comments Mod
One book per title?

Okay cool so the chorus is where we can use any letter from the words in the title?

That makes much more sense thank you!

message 3247: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (manka23) | 2337 comments Well if you spell it out it can be more than one book. But basically if you have left over letters you can't save them. If the title contains your word then it's one book per title. So like if the title is Threats of Sky and Sea and I use OF then I can't also use AND. Get it? Or I could use the title to spell it out and the letters I could use would be T O S A S, unless it's the chorus.

message 3248: by Maddie (new)

Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 53686 comments Mod
Oh yes thank you! I'll try remember that to tell me team haha. Does one line have to be completed the same way, or can we mix the methods up?

message 3249: by Maddie (new)

Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 53686 comments Mod
And is that just for the chorus?

Totally appropriate place to be having this conversation :p

lol. I tend to take over any old thread. At least this will get this thread to be more active. :)

Also if either of you are interested. Natalie from team Seville has made a SS for next month that she is offering to people. :)
