My Reading Journey - What is it all about?
Tracey wrote: "oops i jumped in on the Qs without seeing this sorry everyone :("Ha ha - well at least you're keen!!
I can't won t copy and paste but it's ok I know where I started where i am at and where I am heading too lol.
So am I, because I can't do it for you as you won't be able to edit it! If you click on the folder My reading Journey, you should see add new folder on the top right hand side, then just add your title ( I would suggest "My Reading Journey" w/c 12th August and then paste your text in the box. You might want to copy the questions too.

Tracey wrote: "think i have done it Shirley thank you and again sorry for the mix up."Don't worry about it, I should have made it clearer what to do! I've now frozen the questions thread...

Great idea!
I think I have put in more effort to these questions than I did in most of my school essays. haha!
We have noticed that Jey, Chimney and Diana S didn't manage to write their reading journey. Something wrong? Are those following them still minded to write it?
Thanks Amber, and thanks Maggie for doing next week's! I always enjoy reading what people have to say on here.
I know I am next on the reading journey questionnaire so I will post mine on Monday. Am almost done with it. ^_^
Hey what happened between September and now? I've only recently noticed "reading journeys", and have read a couple of great ones, but am very confused as this thread seems to have been dormant :( Should I be looking at a different thread?

This particular thread is just for general chit-chat about the idea, not for the journeys themselves. I think that is why this thread has been inactive lately.

Easiest way for me to explain it is to suggest that you read a few that members have already done. Basically it is a way to share with the group something about you & your favorite books & authors. One person shares each week, usually on a Monday.
You can see the questions Shirley has suggested here although I think that you can choose to not follow that format if you want.
It looks like the January sign up has been filled, so I have set up a thread for Feb. sign ups in case you or other new members want to join in :)

Am I being very dense here, or is there not yet a sign-up thread for May or June? I'm just coming round to the idea of writing something, but need a bit of notice...
Not dense at all Jean, I think Shirley stopped opening them since there was hardly any interest anymore. I will set one up now!
Oh good ;) Thanks, Jenny. I still find myself sometimes belatedly realising, "Oh, I should have clicked on that!"
I've opened it Jean. I suppose a few of the new members might jump on the train as well?Shirley, you are free to give me a verbal beating should I have crossed a master plan that you had and I now messed up LOL!

Ha ha, no - I just thought people had lost interest...thanks for opening it, Jenny.
I think I have said this before but what do the moderators think about having a new set of questions? Members who have already done theirs can do the second set and new members have the opportunity to choose.
Tee hee! - Alannah's itching to write another... :DSeriously though, I think that's a good idea. Off to find my date now :)

Hopefully the more active amongst us can get the ball rolling again and inspire the new members to get involved. If it wasn't for the Recommendation Swap in TPOBAB I probably would't have got involved at all.

Don't be silly, I knew how you meant it. One of the downsides on the internet.

Starting September 2nd, each week a different member of the group will have the opportunity to sign up for this, just by telling us which week you would like on the sign up thread.
When it's your turn, just copy and paste the questions and use them to tell us about your reading journey.
