Different interpretations of a given theory are different realizations of the one single system of features required by the theory, and hence there must be ways of comparing different interpretations using features-respecting means. Something of this sort applies roughly to concepts generally, but in mathematics it is quite definite (Sets for Mathematics, pp. 235 – 6).
