Compared to what a hater posted a few days ago, that's squeaky clean.

Charlaine Harris's THE JULIUS HOUSE, Aurora Teagarden #4 (on the computer). Roe gets married and moves into a house where a family mysteriously disappeared.

Roe gets married and moves into a house where a family mysteriously disappeared.Angela Thirkell's HAPPY RETURNS, Barsetshire Series (carry-around). Lately I've read a lot of this 20th century series set in small English towns, and I think it's enough for now.
Orson Scott Card's SEVENTH SON (picked up on impulse last night to read myself to sleep). Historical fantasy, colonial America. I loved it when I read it before.
Roger Payne's FLOATING UNDER A RED BERET (proofreading the print version). Funny memoirs of a paratrooper.
I'm reading THE IT GIRL, VAMPIRE ACADEMY, and DEAD UNTIL DARK. so far none of the above have done anything for me. i'm the farthest thru the it girl though.

I'm almost done with Moon Called, it's very interesting, and traditional. With all the turns I'm having a hard time figuring out who to trust. Which makes it very interesting, since in Twilight all of them were clearly shown to be one way or another. Plus, people really die in this one, sometimes not just the bad guys...Whichever ones are the bad guys. Like I said, I can't tell.
It's also an adult novel, and all the mention of werewolf "hormones" makes me uncomfortable. Because most of it doesn't involve love.

The sentence before that was uncomfortable, but I can't list it here because it isn't exactly PG. It's very action-packed too, I think this would make a great movie."The scary things making noise
behind the steel doors hadn't caused his pulse to
increase, but the Mistress of Seethe could.
Emily...i beg to differ. House of Night was a really good series all the way through. And i can't wait for the next in line.I hav a facination with teen vsmpire love triangles apparently....all the series i listed before had one. And i loved all the books :)

:D Cool, I need to get some blood bound, I'm planning on reading more of this series.

The thing about Moon Called, is that there are so many hunky male characters, that I can't tell if who (if any of them) would make a romantic interest.
--Spoiler if you consider things that happens in beginnings as spoilers, and if the story surrounds it, you still consider it a spoiler--
I liked one of the characters, but the story began around his death. It isn't really a spoiler because it happens in the beginning.

I am reading all of the books over again, so I can occupy myself! haha!! But, also , to see how close the movie is to the book. They always say that the movies are their own thing, so they are a little different, so I always like to compare in my head, see what's going on.

Good idea Emilia, I'd like to know your thoughts on the differences.

Well, one thought was on how in the Book Twilight, the first kiss was in the meadow, much more romantic, and Bella said she was going away to Seattle, not Jacksonville. Which I must say, is a lot better set up tot he first kiss, then Bella calling her mom talking about 'boys'. That was the one thing that got me. For some reason I don't have the book New Moon, so I'll have to buy it before the movie releases! I am currently reading Breaking Dawn, because it is so exciting and worth while, even though I should probably start on my summer reading- the thought's killing me!

I am getting a typewriter!!
How cool is that???
Ooh. If I got one, I'd take a picture in front of it. It's very classic. :)

   Haah!!
      Haah!! Actually,
if you have the device called iTunes, create a playlist with the plus button at the bottom left corner. Then, once all the songs from the twilight soundtrack, and only the songs from the twilight soundtrack are on there, then push print. You will be able to choose which way you'd like to print it, choose mosaic. and there you go!
I just read A walk to remember it was so sad but really good i am about to start the Lovely bones heard it was good

I'm reading The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane, which involves witchcraft in Salem. It's really good so far...I'm liking it a lot.

     Nice!
Nice!I have always wanted to read the host, my by folks are slim on money right now, so I don't know if they would be willing to spend another $20 on something that I don't really need...

Ditto, I'm searching the couch cushions. There's not even a library here for another 20 miles. So getting books to read isn't easy.

Hey girls...I know that times are hard for just about everyone right now...if your parents will let you order books online there is a great site called betterworldbooks.com I buy all my used books through them, most are really cheap between $3 and $5 and they have no shipping fees. I hope that helps=)

Here is the better world books info...
The online bookstore with a soul
Better World Books collects and sells books online to fund literacy initiatives worldwide. With more than two million new and used titles in stock, we’re a self-sustaining, triple-bottom-line company that creates social, economic and environmental value for all our stakeholders.
We were founded in 2002 by three friends from the University of Notre Dame who started selling textbooks online to earn some money, and ended up forming a pioneering social enterprise — a business with a mission to promote literacy.
We’re not a traditional company with an add-on “cause” component. Social and environmental responsibility is at the core of our business. You could say it's in our DNA.
We’re breaking new ground in online bookselling. We believe that education and access to books are basic human rights. That's why books sold on BetterWorldBooks.com help fund high-impact literacy projects in the United States and around the world.
All books are available with free shipping to any location within the United States (or $3.97 worldwide). And in case you’re concerned about your eco-footprint, every order is shipped carbon neutral with offsets from Carbonfund.org.
Here’s the best part: In addition to selling new titles, Better World Books supports book drives and collects used books and textbooks through a network of over 1,600 college campuses and partnerships with nearly 1,000 libraries nationwide. So far, the company has converted more than 25 million donated books into $6.5 million in funding for literacy and education. In the process, we’ve also diverted more than 13,000 tons of books from landfills.
Because we believe that most every book has lasting value and the potential to help change the world, we see our job as helping to find new homes for unwanted books. Thus far, we’ve donated nearly one million books to partner programs around the world. Our five primary literacy partners are Books for Africa, Room to Read, Worldfund, the National Center for Family Literacy, and Invisible Children. Good company, no doubt.
Every book purchased from Better World Books contributes to individual literacy throughout the world and the promise of a better life. Clearly, we can’t do this work without our customers. That's why we’re so passionate about trying to offer the best price, selection, customer service, and overall shopping experience.
Thanks for joining us in our mission to create a better world, one book at a time.

I love what they're doing, but as I was adding the books to my wishlist, I suddenly felt guilty, like I should read the books I have, before I even ask for more books. Darn frugality. *headdesk*
