What X-titles are you reading or have you read?

All I get are the classic trades. Anything from #1 to the end of the Claremont run.The last X-series I bought off the newsstand was John Byrne's X-men: Hidden Years.
Pretty much haven't enjoyed anything post-Claremont.
Alan Davis' run on Excalibur was also a lot of fun.

Me either, although I did enjoy Joss Whedon's run on Astonishing X-Men. I'm going to try to read
and
and see how they go.
I may have to check out Joss's run, as it seems to get near universal praise.Hopefully, he was able to undo some of the damage from Morrison's run.

I haven't read all of Grant Morrison's run on New X-Men, although I've heard some mixed reviews about that also.

Starts out interesting, but started to lose me by the end of the first arc and then Grant starts writing an army of teenagers like he doesn't actually know any and don't even get me started on the Scott and Emma 'romance'.
Lots of interesting ideas, but lord is it an uneven read.
It's either brilliant or painfully bad.
The new Savage Hulk comic has a Hulk/X-men story for is first arc and it's drawn by the always impressive Alan Davis.Good use of both Hulk and X-history and beautiful art.
Anyone reading the new Storm series?It was one of a half dozen titles I decided to try and turned out to be the best of the bunch.
First three issues have been solid, done in one stories that fill in bits of Storms history but have lots of action.

So, who is reading 'Death of Wolverine'?I passed, but am curious how the X-titles do post-Wolverine. He has kind of taken over the X-verse, kind of like the movies, and I'm curious who the focus shifts to and who gets more screen time.
Really enjoying the Storm series, bit of a stumble when they had to remind me that Storm and Wolverine were sleeping together.Otherwise, really nice use of her history and just nice to see her on her, rather than playing responsible adult to the rest of the X-men.
Greg Pak is really becoming one of my go to guys. If he is writing it, I'll pick up a couple issues.
Hey I'm new to this group! Probably the wrong place to mention it but ah well. Greg Pak is very good, although I have only read Phoenix Endsong and Warsong. Given Phoenix is my favourite X-man ever, Endsong and Warsong blew me away. At the minute though I am preparing for when I go digital, although I might buy the odd random trade when I can afford it. I have at the very top of my eventual digital list the 2 Apocalypse the Twelve volumes, because the first one was just before I started collecting comics, when Claremont was writing Uncanny X-men in 2000.
I have been enjoying X-Men '92. It is so great to revisit the group that started my love of The X-Men

Only X-tilte of his I've read was Storm.
I mostly know him from his DC stuff.
I've only read one solo Storm title and it was by Jerome someone or other, but the Pak Storm is certainly on my radar, when I get a Kindle and go digital when I'm in Japan in a year or two lol. I could very easily switch purely to manga but I'm too much of an X-men fan to not go digital in the future!
Pak's Storm is a really good series that sadly got cut short. Well worth tracking down.Really good reminder that she is a great character.
I had really lost interest in the X-verse, but Storm was one of the titles that got me interested in giving them another try.
Loved the Storm comic...I was so sad it was canceled...they need to bring her back once the marvel wars thing is over...still do not fully understand that reset.
Ah, it's just Marvel being like DC and cackhandedly assuming new readers can't handle issue runs being more than 20 odd at a time. They don't have very good editors or market research people, that's all.
So, in the current batch of X-series is there anything worth reading?I've picked up a bunch of the New post-Secret War titles, but mostly avoided X and Avenger titles.
With Storm gone, I kind of miss the X-verse.
Any recommendations?
I wouldn't know, I'm waiting until I switch to digital in a few years then following my own chronological canon lol
With Marvel oh-so-subtly trying to replace mutants with Inhumans, is anyone reading the Inhumans comics?I tried Uncanny Inhumans and it does not suck.
Some lazy writing that assumes you've read every other comic and so they don't have to explain things like people's names or what's going on in other titles, so it took half the comic to get a handle on what's going on.
Decent cast and some good ideas will keep me around for a couple issues.
Do miss Lockjaw. Where is he?
Is anyone planning on checking out the new X relaunch?Not sure how streamlining it is when the team has like 14 members, but if I can pick up a single X comic and understand/enjoy what's going on, I'll be impressed.

I was not - but who are some of the members?
Old man Logan, young jean grey, Iceman, Beast and Angel, Jubilee, Nightcrawler, sabertooth, Kitty, Storm, X-23 and about two guys I couldn't identify by just a glance.
Yeah, a decent cast.Just amuses me that they decided 'Hey, instead of ten X titles, how about we do one, but make the membership everybody."
So, X-men Gold did not suck.Decent line up, light on the soap opera angst and they fight an actual super-villain!
Giving both X teams a three issue try.
X-men Blue: That was pretty bad. Much as I love the original 5, I can't bring myself to read the second issue.Weak all around.
Weapon X: okay, almost none of the line up on the cover show up in the story, but Wolverine and Sabertooth trying to out badass each other was fun.
Though, can we stop calling him 'Old man Logan'?
He's the only Logan around.
We are referring to the time displaced X-men as Young boy Hank, Young boy Warren, Young girl Jean etc.
It's annoying.
So, is Uncanny Avengers an X title?The first post-nazi Cap issue was decent. May give this title another try.
New Mutants: fun. Nice to see mutants dealing with supernatural stuff.

John Byrne is in talks to do a project for marvel and rumor has it, that it's X-men related...Hell has officially frozen over.
Yeah, I saw a couple pages of that and wondered if turning it into a complete, published story was the deal.Still, Byrne back at marvel...that's like hearing they captured a unicorn or made a watchable Highlander sequel.
So, Hickman is going to come along and "fix' X-continuity and his first issue is a bit of a mess.Very pretty art, but the time jumping and no one set POV character and overall convoluted story just left me underwhelmed.

I haven't been keeping up with the recent X-Men comics. They're just not the same like the older comics.
Too many writers want to make their mark and do something epic, most likely with the hopes of catching Hollywood's attention or create the next 'WAtchmen'.Not enough of them want to just write some comic books or do the slow work of actually fixing some of these convoluted series.

Can be, but at the same time there is so much stuff out there that is good, not to mention back issues that it doesn't bother me overly.

Oh yeah.I still collect a decent amount of current titles, but am also always on the hunt to fill holes in my collection.
Anyone checking out the big relaunch titles and the half dozen spin-offs coming from Hickman?Not sure about the main X-men title, but a couple of the side titles sound interesting.
Doesn't seem to be much going on in this group for a while but I'll post something anyway.The Uncanny X-Men got me into comics as a kid probably in the early 80's. I've read/collected them on and off over the years. I hadn't read any comics in quite some time when Hickman took over so I thought it was a good jumping back on point.
Of the new titles since House of X and Powers of X opened this latest iteration, I've been reading the following titles:
X-Men
New Mutants
Marauders
Hellions
X-Factor (sad to see this being cancelled after the next issue)
Children of the Atom (not off to a great start)
Way of X
X-Corps (not off to a great start either)
I was reading Cable, Wolverine and X-Force but dropped them.
Love Hickman's idea, but lord is the execution a mess.Tried most of the new titles, only ones I've stayed with are:

Think my biggest problem is that every X writer acts like you are reading all 14 titles, so why should they actually explain anything
I've heard some good things about the recent issues of Excalibur. With there being a Betsy/Kwannon reunion I'm definitely intrigued but like you said, trying to follow every X title ridiculous. And them going from event to event so quickly is frustrating. New Mutants is much different since Vita Ayala took over. I think it was around issue 13. I've really enjoyed it until the last few. There's been way too much going on in each issue.
Way of X #1 was very promising. Issue #2 is out today so looking forward to that.
X-men Legends is the other title I'm trying.#3 is Walt and Louise Simonson doing an original X-Factor story. Very cool.
