Just wondering; is it common for another author to offer to read and write an honest review of you book if you read and review theirs, and they don't read or review your book?
I'm just wondering about three in particular. I don't want to jump to conclusions, but I don't want to be 'used' either.
Just wonderin'

You phrased that well! LOL

I appreciate that. Now I'm wondering how long to wait before 'nudging' them a bit...

It's been longer than that already-since July 4th! LOL.

Alexes | 15 comments Honestly, last month I finally got up a review for a book that had been in my Kindle for probably four or five months. I'm now finishing a book that I've had for nearly that long and another that I've had for several weeks and will not get reviews up either for another week or so. Unless you were promised a review within a certain time frame, I'd say: be patient. If you just can't stand it any longer and need to nudge them, be gentle. Humor might help. :)

Thank you. That seems like prudent advice.

C.G. (CG_Garcia) | 21 comments It also helps to agree on a time beforehand. I only offer to review books if I'll be able to do it within a month and vice-versa.
