Addie hopped out of the pickup truck and picked up her duffel bag. She went to the other side of the truck and looked up at her father, a small smile on her face. She's miss him like crazy, that was for sure. The older man wrapped his arms around his daughter and hugged her tightly, saying a goodbye in her ear. She walked away from him, and stood a few feet away while he drive off, waving all along. She smiled to herself and walked into the camp, looking around the scenery. A bunch if kids running around, some of em had swords, that was weird, but eh, she didnt really pay attention. She looked around curiously, trying to find someone that looked to be in charge. Her duffel was kind of heavy, shed like to go drop it off at her cabin.

All that Addie could see is a bunch of bright orange shirts. And damn were they bright... She was walking slowly into the camp, hoping someone would notice how lost she looked and talk to her. She heard a greeting and turned a bit, seeing a brunette walk towards her. She didnt exactly look happy and friendly, br she didn't look evil either... She met the girl halfway and smiled "hey, I'm Addie, do you know where I'm supposed to check in...? I don't have a cabin number or anything..." She said

Addie furrowed her brows at her girl ms have her a sort of look. She bit the inside of her cheek and let her finish talking. She nodded "yeah, that's be great bay, but claim? Up there? What do you mean? I mean, is it like some kind of team thing? The cabin heads choose who they want as cabin mates or something?" She asked, trying to grasp what she meant. She was confused, and didnt understand what was going on. This was just a summer camp, right?

Addie walked along side Bay, her frown deepening with every sentence she said. Once she was done, she nodded a bit, trying to be considerate to this girl "yeah, I'm sure they meant well for you though, they probably just didnt want to complicate your life..." She said, then stopped walking "but I'm sorry, I think there's some mistake. As much as it would be really amazing and cool to have a god as a parent, I don't. My dad just drove away ten minutes ago, and my mom died when I was a baby. Unless a goddess died sixteen years ago, I don't think I belong here. Sorry." She said, trying to be rational about the whole thing

Addie looked at Bay curiously "I dunno, I don't think he would..." She said, then sighed. She thought about the question with pursed lips, thinking about her life, and then she remembered the incident when she was five, with the horse and the tumor. She's done that several other times throughout her life, and her influencing... Maybe this Bay girl was right? She nodded "yea, a couple of things, do you really think that means... That I'm half goddess?" She asked, walking towards the cabins once again.

Addie nodded to Bay, she didnt really mind the high and mighty tone, she could handle it of course. "Well yeah, I mean I wish I had known about this a long time ago, this is ridiculous. My dads gone now and I don't have a phone so I guess I just have to wait and find out, sorry to be a downer but that just pisses me off" she said in an angry tone. Had her father just forgotten that he fucked a goddess???? Unlikely. She started to walk up to the cabin

Kai couldn't help but feel a little nervous and excited as the looming gates of the camp came into view. The moment she'd discovered her demigod heritage and the existence of the place in front of her Kai had been completely wired. She'd been through so many emotions in the past few weeks, amazement, fear, anger, confusion, back to amazement and now as it seemed the truth was really here in front of her Kai didn't really know what to think. The car rumbled to steady halt and she clambered out, taking in a deep breath of fresh air and glancing around with curious teal eyes. It seemed nice enough, Kai was used to the outdoorsy lifestyle and though it wasn't quite as warm as her home it was welcome all the same. Retrieving her travel rucksack from the trunk and slinging it over her slender shoulders, Kai thanked the driver and made her way up to the gate. It was her first year here and Kai really didn't have much of a clue as to where she was supposed to go or what she was supposed to do. As of right now she was just winging it and hoping for the best.

(People are being claimed, like these two haven't been claimed yet, they have no clue what's going on >.>)
Addie nodded Bay "oh yeah, I'll be calling them later, I can wait until everyone goes to sleep if I have to and find an office phone, that way I can have all the points lined out that I want to scream at him for." She practically growled. She walked into the camp and just tossed her duffel bag onto a random bunk, not even paying attention to the kids inside, she couldn't care less right now "so how are we supposed to know? I mean is there a way to tell who our parent is without being claimed???" She asked

The weight of her rucksack against her shoulders was beginning to dig in and Kai shifted uncomfortably, tucking a curl of dark hair behind her ear. It didn't take long for her keen eyes to lock onto the signs that led to specific cabins and there it was amongst the others Poseidon, Kai couldn't begin to fathom the shot of fear and awe that ran through her just seeing that name. She swallowed and chewed her lip in a nervous manner as she headed over, following the sign towards Poseidon's cabin. And there it was, nestled in amongst the trees. This was it, Kai was finally home and she'd finally get a chance to understand who she really was.
Addie nodded a little bit, then chuckled softly, she couldn't help it "so I guess you're a city girl then? You must hate it here already..." She commented "but I swear, I have half a mind to walk down to the offices now and bother whoevers in charge until they just tell me. Is there a goddess for animals? I mean I guess I'm probably that ones daughter, unless I'm completely off the mark and don't even know who my real dad is. Knowing how stupid I am I'm probably wrong." She said, trying to think back to sixth grade when she learned about the Greek culture. She had the gods and goddesses memorized back then, not so much anymore.... But her influencing would put her in a good spot to have some time of animal god or goddess as a parent, right?

"Artemis? That would be cool, I could be a goddesses dirty little slip up. How flattering" she said with a soft chuckle. She couldn't help but feel like it was all some kind of big joke, that everybody here was in on. Maybe at the bonfire they'd all jump up and say "gotcha" and then she won't have to hate her dad anymore? That would be the cutest darn thing... "I feel like I'm being punked." She mumbled with pursed lips "who do you think your parent is? Like I'm not asking what your unexplainable thing was, but any ideas at all?" She asked

"Yeah you're actually not too bad, I admire how you can glare people out of the cabin, useful gift, right there" Addie said with a teasing smile. She listened and tilted her head "well, flowers, kind of like crops, and Demeter has control over crops so, maybe it her?? Or with birds it could be Artemis too." She shrugged like she really wouldn't know either way "I guess we'll have to wait until tonight. See my weird thing is that I can influence and understand animals, it's not like we talk to each other... I just have ideas out of nowhere about what they need or something and I'm always right, and then I can tell them what to do by just thinking it. I don't know maybe I'm crazy..." She muttered, taking a hand through her hair

Addie blinked a few times "that sounds... Harsh. See where I come from you don't really have to fight to be on top, there isn't really even a top. There's just a general clump, that everyone's in. Talents? I'm not so sure about that, it's just kind of a thing I've always done, I grew up on a ranch, I always thought it was because I've lived around the horses and things for so long that we understood each other..." She said, a half smile on her face. She remembered nights when she couldn't sleep, going out into the stables and cuddling with the newborn ponies. It was something her father expected of her after a while

Addie looked at Bay like she had a screw loose "that does sound exhausting, pretty awful, having to worry constantly. But I gues you'd get used to it??" She said, then sighed "well we don't know that yet, maybe it's totally normal for people like us to live normal lives, have jobs and families? I may not be an admissions officer, but I say being half goddess would look amazing on a resume!" She chirped, trying to make light of the situation "but seriously bay, don't worry so much until you get there. You said your grades are perfect, so if you keep on doing that, we'll find out later what our big grand destiny is" she said honestly

Titan kissed his mother politely on the cheek, then gave her a gentle hug, a sad smile on his handsome, young face. He was going to miss her, he was excited about the experience he was about to have too though. His spirit was torn between enjoying the time at the camp him and his sister were about to attend and missing his mother greatly. "I love you mother," He said softly and stepped out of the car when he saw the tears gathered in her blue eyes, he couldn't stand to watch her cry. Jeffrey, their driver, was there to meet him by the trunk, he had pulled his and his sisters trunks out. "Thank you Jeff," He said casually, he believed in a personal relationship with your staff, each would feel more at ease with one another. He waited for his sister, knowing Levinia she would probably sob with his mother and then come tearing out of the car like nothing had even happened. She was odd like that, and lucky to be able to clear her face up so quickly. His mother always claimed it was that beautiful skin Zeus had bestowed upon the golden twins. That's what she had nicknamed them, he rather liked it. Jeff smiled at him and waited as well, he was holding Levie's trunk. "Lev lets go!" He called out, not wanting to miss the bonfire, they still needed to get settled in their cabin. Some were not as lucky as them, some didn't know who their parent was.
Addie nodded "yeah, youll get there, don't go changing any plans yet" she said, then sighed heavily "I guess we should, wouldn't want to upset mother dearest, eh??" She said, standing up and straightening her destroyed denim jeans. She wasn't exactly sure how she felt about the whole "meet your parent hour" thing that was coming up, she didnt really think she was ready.
Levinia hugged tightly onto her mother, her face buried into her shoulder. Tears were running down her face, but she stayed silent as she cried. She could hear her brother calling her, and she pulled away, looking up at her mother with teary eyes. Sophia looked down at her daughter and smiled sadly. She told her not to cry, to be excited. Then she wiped the tears from the girls face and kissed her forehead tenderly. "I'll see you, mom. You know I'll miss you" Levinia said softly, then kissed her mothers cheek and exited the car, a bright smile on her face already. "Oh leave me aloneeeeee, Ty!!! Well have time, it can't take too much time to plop our trunks in the cabin and run down to wherever it is we're headed" she grumbled, taking her bag from her brother "thank youuuu" she chirped to the driver, then waved to her mother, tugging on her brothers wrist

Titan rolled his eyes, "I'd like to change out of these clothes." He had on a button down, dark blue shirt, slacks and a pair of Italian loafers, his mothers idea of traveling clothes. "Plus I'd like to get there on time, I mean it will be cool to watch everything," Excitement edged into his voice as he spoke, more and more. "C'mon Lev you can't tell me you're not excited about this whole thing, we've both been talking about nothing else for weeks," Titan pulled on a bit of her hair playfully and gave her his boyish smile that always melted her and made her not be mad at him. "I mean I'll miss mother too but really isn't this awesome?" They had just walked through the gate and could see the campers, cabins, and other buildings.
"I don't think it'd be that bad to be the only ones, kind of special! Like if there are likes of kids waiting to be claimed you'd just be one of the masses, but if it's just a few, people will remember you. Think positive bay" Addie said in a happy tone, walking towards the mess hall with her new friend. Strange, how she had become friends with bay. They were obviously two very different girls...
Levinia chewed on her lip as they walked "I mean, don't get me wrong, Im really excited, but what if..." She stopped in the path and looked right at him, only having to tilt her head up a smudge "what if our dad.. Well what if he doesn't want me? You've always felt more close to dad than me, and what if he really only wants one of us? Have you ever heard of twin demi-gods before? Cuz I haven't" she said, whispering urgently to her brother "and besides I really didnt want to change anyway, I think I look cute. But I'm probably going to have to" she grumbled as an after thought. She liked the tight black skirt her mother had recommended, but guessed it wouldn't be the best for a bonfire... Ugh. http://m.weheartit.com/entry/70928008...

"What if what?" Titan asked and then listened as she continued, he frowned deeply as he listened to her fears, her doubts about them as a set in front of their father. "Levinia I will not be a part of anything without you, do you understand me?" He pulled her in close for a tight hug, "I'm not kidding, you and I are a set, and no one and nothing will ever make that stop, or be able to tear us apart from one another. Not even a God." TItan pulled away and took her hand, then started to walk again, he loved his sister literally to death. She was his other half and he would not lose her. Period. He didn't care what anyone else thought, and seeing his sister actually admit her fears like that impressed him. She kept a lot to herself even though he would listen to her anytime she needed to talk.
(Ill post at the mess hall. Should there be a bunch of kids in there or should they be like the first ones?)
Levinia hugged Titan tightly. She nodded once he pulled away, instantly reassured. She never would've told anyone else a fear like that, only Titan was trusted with those kinds of things. "Sorry, I think I just needed to hear you say it..." She said in a somewhat guilty tone. She didnt mean to be a baby, but when it came to uncharted waters, like this camp, she couldn't help but be a tad insecure. She took a few deep breaths and then thought of being around a bunch of other kids, kids with powers just like she and titans. Once she focused on that fact, she grinned, and started to walk quickly towards the cabins "come on, you're gonna make us late for the party" she teased him

Titan rolled his eyes but walked a bit faster beside his twin, "You are the one that was making us late, remember?" He shot back, but it was all in good fun. He was never cruel to his sister, and if someone else tried to be, well lets just say that would be the last thing they did for a while. Titan nodded toward a cabin, "There it is, our home for the next few months." He grabbed her hand once again and pulled her toward the cabin, his excitement barely contained. He was like a child on Christmas about to go downstairs to open presents. This was something he had been looking forward to for a very long time.
(Okay I'll post in Zeus and the mess hall ^-^)
"Clear blue skys, gross. I hope it rains out here..... The Demigod thought to herself as she brought her drug of choice to her lips. She exhaled and the tattooed girl continued pulling her full suitcase to this.....Camp? Her mother sent her here, ugh, that was somebody Sloane didn't want to think about. Sloane stepped across the gate and saw people out and going to their cabins. She put out her smoke and Sloane started to walk to her cabin, not wanting to associate with anybody at the moment.
