Gentle Rogue question

Okay, so when James has taken George back, and they are headed to Englad, newlyweds, and they make up, that scene, I am uncertain of. After some vigorous sex, George asks him, "Did you?" And James replies, "Course I did," is she asking if he climaxed? I have read this book at least twenty times, it really is my favorite romance novel, my paerbac had to be retired for an ebook of it lol,but I have always been not certain if that was the correct meaning of that scene. Thanks for any replies of clarification!!
