This is a sweet Christian romance with a very unusual fantasy twist, set in modern-day east Texas. Cody is a young cowboy with a red-dirt band and some seriously evil enemies, and Lisa is a small-town waitress with an ill mother and an unhelpful sister. The theme of the story is that love endures forever, in spite of all obstacles, and that God can and will use even bad things as a blessing for those who love Him.
