So I just finished it, and I don't quite know how I feel yet. I expected alot more from it then I got, but at the same time it kept me interested. Does that make sense? lol. It seemed like the are trying for a squeal by the way the ended it though.

The epilogue is why I think there is going to be a part two, but instead of Sloane it will be who the introduced during that part. Sorry I am being vague. I don't know how to hide the spoilers yet, and don't wanna ruin it for anybody.

I'm usually used to one or two of the characters dying but there are more in this book dying and some are getting their memory wiped clean which is just as bad. James going to the program was almost as bad as *spoiler if you haven't read/watched divergent* when Tobias got his memory wiped clean. I hope something good happens soon (hide spoiler)]

There is something weird about realm. I mean he damages a handler's arm yet the other handlers let him walk out calmly with no tasers. It just doesn't seem right to me.

I'm glad James and Sloane are together but I get a feeling that Realm and Sloane are going to meet up again and it will cause more hassle.
Who do you think should take the orange pill? I feel like it would be better if She takes it but if she takes it she will have to go through the pain of knowing memories that happened between her and James that James doesn't remember and vice versa. Altogether though it was an alright book. It's not a book I would read over and over again but I'm glad I read it. (hide spoiler)]

Sheesh, 1/3 teens committing suicide? I see why people are concerned... But the daily questions are stupid. Are you overwhelmed or lonely? who isn't once in a while at least 1 of those things. Ugh...they need a better set of standards to filter people. Although I am sure there are other things they look into as I get further into the book. But how horrible that everyone lives in fear of being taken.

I know it's crazy! I can't imagine living like that! It does seem odd though that they'd take you away for feeling a bit lonely or overwhelmed!

Done through chapter 11. (view spoiler)[If I was Sloane I would have gone off a lot more on her mother. NO ONE should be expected to be okay knowing someone they care for are losing their memories. Is I were Sloane I would have asked her mother how she would have reacted if it were here husband who would never remember her. It is NOT okay.
I think this book is going to hit a bit close to home knowing I has to deal with a loved one with amnesia. It is beyond a horrible feeling to look at one you care for and see a totally blank stare and know they have no idea who you are to them.
I agree with Sloane questioning if fear of The Program is driving more suicides.
And what is this QuikDeath? Why don't adults work harder to get rid of something students can buy (even at school) that can easily kill them. (hide spoiler)] Okay long ranting there and I could keep going. Really enjoying this but I also have a lot of personal thoughts on the matters this book hits on.

It seems a horrible system really, wiping memories of teenagers, kids getting quikdeath at school, parents sending kids away, it's all pretty horrible or!
