I have moved the book to a new author profile. You are Don Mitchell with 3 spaces between your first and last name. You can use this link to claim your author profile:

Thanks, Amanda. As a long-time nerd I understand the use of spaces in differentiating things -- but I'm not sure I understand how this is going to work when somebody looks for me on Goodreads. It's most likely that they'll look for my title, but can you tell me what's likely to happen if somebody looks for Don Mitchell instead of Don Mitchell?
Thanks very much for your prompt response.
Don
The spaces don't make a difference in the search returns. It only lets the database know which author profile to associate the books with. If readers search for Don Mitchell (1 space) then your book will still show up.If you add any future books, you'll want to make sure you have the 3 spaces so the book shows up on your profile. Or if someone else adds your book, you can post to this group and tell us it needs to be moved to the 3 space profile.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
When new books are added to the wrong author it is nearly always to the one-space version of the name. If you keep an eye on Don Mitchell (1 space) then you will most likely see your books when they are added. The one-space authors have a hard time, they get books belonging to everyone else turning up.

There are several Don Mitchells.
I don't see how to work on my author profile (or get disambiguated from the others).
Obviously I don't claim the other books.
I'd be grateful for advice about what to do.
Don
