A Sherlock Holmes pastiche in which Holmes is under the care of Dr Watson in a London asylum. Holmes' battle with mental illness provides a nice twist at the end.

I had to go back and re-read a couple of paragraphs of the short story just to make the twist sink in a bit better.

I read it a couple of weeks ago and thought it was a very interesting read. The only downside (apart from the shortness of it) was that I had guessed the twist in the narrative very early on (I am prone to doing that - I ruined The Sixth Sense for myself by guessing the ending in the first five minutes).
