I'm excited to start :) It is been a while since I read a mythology book.

Still at the beginning, I'm finishing a chapter in 13 Reasons Why then I will start it.I know that this thread is for us to talk about this book but I want to say this, 13 Reasons Why is bothering me. I can't point on what's bothering me exactly, but it just does.
Also, the whole Bryce and Hannah scene is disturbing me, and I want to hit her.

I thought of that too.
The book is good, really, and there are some fucked up things that happened to her but I just... I don't know. I will try to sort out my ideas when I finish this book then I will let you know.
There are many books that can be emotional to people but ordinary to others.For example, now that I finished WFL, I can say that it isn't as sad as how I felt it was while reading it. I don't know why, I don't relate to most of the character's problems but it still triggered me into thinking of stupid ideas.

Chapter 17... Hades is such an asshole.
Why do they always blame Hades in the Greek Mythology stories? Seriously, it is "intriguing". I feel bad for Hades. It is like in religion where they blame Satan for everything bad that's happening and not their fucked-up self.

But yeah, I get the point. Always blaming the evil one, even though sometimes he has nothing to do with it. People just like to justify themselves, to make themselves feel better.

You will fall in love with him when you read the Goddess test. Besides, he's not a devil. He just punishes people. Kind of like God if you ask me.
