Librarians cannot set the default edition, but you can do so by following these instructions:

sorry, I wasn't aware of that. I'm still finding my feet on this site. I've managed to set the new cover now as the default edition, so I deleted your comment about this being an alternate cover edition. Is it possible to delete the other edition with the old cover?
