Shadow stood up and tugged her shirt down. She noticed that Aspen was looking at her."What?" She asked him, did she do something wrong?
(I can't get on it at work... they blocked the cite)
Aspen shook his head, "What?..... Oh nothing." he said. 'Keep it together, man' he thought.
(( Oh, then it's just three small birds. ;)))

Shadow smiled a bit and than crashed down on the couch. "Let's watch the truth then." she told him and turned the video on.
Aspen sat next to her, "Alright." he said turing his attention to the screen.
The screen showed almost the same thing as they had seen on the computor but instead on a flickering they say as the car that had crashed into their parent's cars the window was rolled down and out of the window came a gun, four clean shots were seen and than the end of the vifeo came. Shadow sat in shock staring at the black screen.
I'll have to get off in 5 min but I'll be back on my phone.

Aspen was shaking his head in disbelief. He swallowed hard as he watched what had really happened to his parents. He was utterly speechless and in total shock at what he had just seen.
"Aspen." Shadow.whispered. She was shaking. She got up from the couch and walked over to the drawer, she barely made it; she was shaking that badly. She got out some calming tablets and swallowed them. She slumped on the floor.
((Sorry working))Aspen looked up from his daze in time to see Shadow fall to the floor. He got up and went over to her quickly, "shadow are yo okay?" he asked softly
She weakly nodded. Whenever she got that shocked, which was rare, she had to take calming tablets immideatly.
He gently scooped her up and took her to the couch setting her down. "Are you sure?" he asked, concerned.
Shadow looked at him, he.was.being too nice, and his good looks weren't helping him. "I.was in a state of shock." she told him quietly.
Aspen gave a sad smile. "So was I."
"I'll find whoever did this and I'll slit their throat." she told heself and a single tear rolled down her cheek.
He sat by her feet, "I'll be right there with you." He said in a deadly voice.((going to disappear... Have to pick my bros up.))
"Thank you." she told him and pushed herself up. She thought to herself I cant believe that I only know this guy foe about half a day and we are.already in something this serious together.
Aspen looked over at her and was thinking the same thing
Shadow looked down suddenly.feeling really.shy, she.blushed.
Aspen noticed but didn't comment
Why is he so darn polite? Shadow fought with herself feeling a little bit confused, any other guy would never.behave.like he.does, he's too nice, too cute, and too good for me.<\i> Shadow sighed.
Aspen looked up at her sigh. He had been lost in his thoughts. He had been thinking about her and what they had just found out about their parents. She is just so sweet and caring, but she is not someone I would want to hurt. He thought
Shadow didn't know what to do next. She decided to rematch the video on her computer and zoom in on the driver's license plate. She.stood up and got the tape out of the player, she.felt as if her.shirt.was too short. Sh walked to her room and came back out, "Aspen, come." She told him. She walked.into her room.
Aspen got up and followed her. " alright." He said going to her room after her((Gtg))

Shadow pushed the tape into her computor and looked at the screen once it booted up. She started to zoom in on the car that was shooting. She zoomed into the license plate, "AVEY1987" she murmured out loud.
Aspen watched what she was doing over her shoulder. "How are we going to find this car?" he asked, "Wasn't this one in the crash too?"
Shadow felt him hovering over her shoulder, his warmth bounced off of her. She smiled. "We can track whoever owned this car by this license plate number." She told him looking up.
Aspen looked down at her, "Okay, but if you think about it, it might not even lead us to the right person. They might have stolen that car."
That may be right, my dad used to work in an investigation company and I know some people who would be willing to help us, because, look, I clipped a pic of the shooter's face." she told him with a smile showing him a pic.
He smiled slowly as she showed him the pic. "You are good. So are we sure these people you know have no part in this?"
Shadow thought hard, none of those people hated her dad and mom, all of them were pretty much her family friends..."No, they all liked my dad as far as I know, but we're still going to have to be careful." She told him.
Aspen nodded, "So me coming with you, probably wouldn't be a very good idea." he asked her.
"No, it will be ok, you can come with me, I don't want to be alone for this part." she told him and looked him in his eyes pleadingly.
