The dream/memory she had of her parents fighting the night before her birthday was sad. And the kisses to their foreheads that made them forget everything about her...:(

I was convinced Chubs was talking about getting rid of Ruby but thankfully he meant Black Betty haha pheww (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Holsh*t! Liam scared me so bad I thought Clancy must've wiped his memory but then I remembered Clancy doesn't have that ability as Ruby did. But then Ruby couldn't have done it because she hasn't seem him for ages..

and then he just says "That was a bad joke, wasn't it?"

YES IT WAS, LIAM!

I nearly had a heart attack...

Ruby is spending way too much time with Clancy now and she didn't even ask for Chubs to send his letter :( (hide spoiler)]

Glad it's FINALLY picking up haha. I'm going to start in a few days. Finishing Arclight then I'll read this.

It's got a good plot. It's just theres too many pages and not enough happening in those pages, you know what I mean? It felt a bit draggy but since there's only about 100 pages left, lots more things are happening within the pages

Meaning if he found out she was hurt, he would've run to her (not walk, like he told her)
But that doesn't suddenly make him a good person. He really abused his power as a leader... sigh
