alternative cover edition help

I finished my copy of Shoplifting from American Apparel by Tao Lin, and I noticed my cover wasn't on here so I tried making a "new edition" but the isbn wouldn't let me, so I made a "new book" here and looking over the Librarian Manual that appears to be what I'm supposed to do. It may have been easier to create another "edition" but the way I read the Manual made it sound like I needed to make it into a new book.

What I just did, is it correct?

well we'l have to combine it, but that's correct. Then on your author profile you can choose which cover you want as the primary edition.
