This was so good. So unique and sjskfh. I wanted to keep reading, it was so addictive. If I didn't have to study I would have read it in a day. Definitely rereading later.

I loved the story and the characters and the subtle romance, the twists (like Paige. DID NOT EXPECT THAT WAS WHAT THE DEMONS WERE). The angels of the apocalypse is awesome and I want to know more of the politics. And more Raffe. I am desperate to read SOMETHING, ANYTHING in his POV.

And now I wait for you guys to finish to freak out some more. I rated it between 4.5 and 5 (not too sure if it's a full five yet, but it's really close)

Okay, this book was crazy and totally cool
and although I guessed about Paige and the nephilim relations, I really like where this plot is going.
I am terrified/in awe of Penryn's mum and adored the character. penryn and Raffe are too awesome, that goes without saying (Also, I knew Raffe was Raphael when he said 'wrath of god' I'm a bit too eager on angel lore). Anyway, this still.didn't spoil the book and I thought it was too cool. can't wait for the next one! What do you guys guess it's gonna happen?

PENRYN'S MUM IS THE MOST FASCINATING CHARACTER. The whole reason behind the self defense trainingn is just CRAZY.

I predicted Raffe too, but it's still awesome to know he's an arch angel. And it's made all this angel politics even more exciting.

I have no idea what will happen in World After. MORE ANGEL POLITICS is what I hope, with some Jebediah (I think that's his name...Or was it Josiah... Albino angel). I want to see what will happen to Paige (as a cannibalistic little devil child now), and I just want more basically. Lots of action and fighting and interesting plots please!

exactly, Bec! everything you said. Im so anxious for the next book and I'm expecting more angels as well. the great thing about series is that we have much more space to develop the ideaas, and I really loved what Susan set up in the first book.

Whatever happens I am sure it'll be surprising and awesome. I want to know what these 'demons' Penryn's mother is always going on about are. Are they just voices in her head? Or is it the influence of actual demons.
