Rhea (rh3a) | 115 comments Now that ASINs could coexist with ISBNs, are we merging the e-books with their corresponding Kindle editions?

If not, WHY not? Most traditionally published Kindle books have an ISBN. Why should we keep listing the same thing twice?

That is a temporary glitch. The change will be rolled back shortly. Edit: Actually, it has been already.

Also, the ISBN that a Kindle edition has is often not the same as the ISBN used on other sites.

Jax | 2 comments Hi There.

New to librarian status, and just wanted to get some clarification on something.
I hope I've picked the right thread. My apologies if I haven't.

Okay - so, basically my question is about merging digital editions.
I've noticed on a few occasions that there are multiple ebook or kindle editions listed for books, however the only detail that appears to differ is the ASIN.

So, if there is more than one Kindle Edition listd should they be merged?
