LOL!
That doesn't change the required letter, does it?"
Required letter is still small-circle M.

Oh duh. Big circle, small circle. /facepalm
TGIF!
Nancy wrote: "do we get partial credit for the words we find or do we need to find all of them?"No. No partial credits as far as I know. Your reward is Triple Threat. I think that deserves little working. :D
And you do have hints for 'big' words. :D
I'm not going to say this is my last question, because at this rate I'll be here all day, but #34... doesn't have an M?
Captain Cupcake wrote: "Nancy wrote: "Does the letter M have to be in the middle of the word? Also, there is at leas one three letter word - can we use it or if there are more words for 4 letters, etc?"
No, M doesn't ha..."
Yes, I understand the puzzle now.
I'm so glad there is supposed to be an R! I was really getting stumped on trying to find 15 four letter words without it! I may have uttered a few of my own ;)
I'm stumped on #34. I can't come up with it either. The only words that I've found that have an M in it have a letter that's not on the wheel or there's too many letters.
Moderators of Nothing but Reading Challenges wrote: "Let's see what you have, Amanda. Then we'll decide. Alright?"I don't know why my print screen skills are so awful. lol

Let me know if this doesn't work for you and I'll have one of the other captains do the sliders.
*backs away slowly*
Mwahahaha
Vicky wrote: "Captain Cupcake, On Puzzle #103 22 and 23 both have the same hint, is that intentional?"
Yes, the word is spelled two different ways.
Vicky wrote: "One more question. :s Is there supposed to be an R in the wheel?"Yes, my apologies. It should be where the "M" was in the outer wheel. So much for my editing. I have now put an "R" along with "M" in the center.

Clarification: Definition #34-A structure taller than its diameter; can stand alone or be attached to a larger building. Has an "R" in it and NO "M."
Mary: Harry Dresden's Love Slave wrote: "Dumb question about the spreadsheet. What does #N/A mean as pertains to this?"The #N/A syntax is what spreadsheets use when there is an error. It seems that the spreadsheet is occasionally having problems "seeing" the cupcake images so it's reporting an error. I've seen it like this a few times but it's mostly showing the cupcakes as expected.
So, Vicky - how did we do on the #103 puzzle? Is there one winner or many winners? Does it depend on how quickly you send this in to the Cupcake Captain?

Nancy K., Vicky earned a "Triple Threat" cupcake for Pewter Blue. There is only one winner per Team. There isn't a time restriction on these puzzles, other than doing them during the Mod August Challenge - which is this case is the entire month of August.

Ah, our first series is about Romeo and Juliet.
Sure, they are no “Triple Threat.”
But for double “chuckster” cupcakes, yet!
It's a sure bet.

For this puzzle there are at least six (6) differences between the side-by-side pictures.

Have we earned a Triple Threat as soon as a puzzle is completed, or are they part of a series like the Spot-the-Difference puzzles?
Turtlecollector wrote: "Have we earned a Triple Threat as soon as a puzzle is completed, or are they part of a series like the Spot-the-Difference puzzles?"If your answers were correct, you can redeem your triple threat. :D
If you're not sure, you can always check spreadsheet. If it's series, cupcake in team cell won't be the same as one under the puzzle name (in blue line) as long as series is not completed.

Thanks. I thought so, but I wanted to make sure before trying to redeem it.

If LK says no, just blame me ;) I'm taking full responsibility.
Since the first was a bomb, let me try once again.
Here is another of the 'Triple Threats.'
That's not such a colossal pain.
I need to save face, have no regrets.
In this one, a "C" must occur in a word.
Don't bother with any that are too absurd.
PUZZLE #105: Word Wheel 'Challenge.' Create words according to the breakdown below. Be sure all have the center letter "C" is in them. There are some hints/definitions below. --- Please DO NOT post solution here. Mail to ratminichallenges@gmail.com with Puzzle # in subject line. Be sure to tell me what Team you are assigned.
The 'Triple Treat' Cupcake maybe redeemed by your Captains for three (3) books.
