That is special type of cupcakes called Triple Threat. ☺

See here. They are worth 3 BAPs (Book Advantage Points)

Cupcakes you earn here can be used in different ways.
Regular cupcakes () and blinkie cupcakes () can be used in inter-team challenges (Mods' challenges) instead of book.
Blinkie cupcake can also be used to buy you a hint from me in case you have problem solving one of the puzzles. (But only if you are the person who earned that cupcake - your name is in spreadsheet).
Bouncy cupcakes () and Thriple Threats () are for extra books. Your captain can exchange them for certain books (over certain number of pages) and earn extra 'book points' for your team.

The black background one means you've earned a triple threat cupcake (makes a book over a certain length, see rules for exact details, worth THREE Books)

The purple background one means you've earned the cupcake and you've already redeemed it.

Yet another 'Triple Threat.'
For three times the books, this cupcake's net.
In this one, a "G" must occur every time.
Luckily they all don't need to rhyme.

PUZZLE #124: Word Wheel 'GoodReads.' Create words according to the breakdown below. Be sure all have the center letter "G" in them. There are some hints/definitions below. --- Please DO NOT post solution here. Mail to ratminichallenges@gmail.com with Puzzle # in subject line. Be sure to tell me what Team you are assigned.

Christina | 35 comments Thanks for answering my question so quickly!

And now that I have that one answered, I have a couple more. (Sorry, I am new to this.)

- How do we get the Sunday Update Bonus Cupcakes?

- For the BOMs cupcakes, do have to do anything beyond reading the book? I noticed that only one team has cupcakes and I don't know why there are varying multipliers next to their names.

Turtlecollector Dennis | 1164 comments Email for 122 an 123 sent for Cerulean. Yes, I now see that Ezi sent 122 while I was working on them, but I did not see that post before I sent the email.

SU & DQ are not mine (I let Lisa Kay use my spreadsheet) but I can still answer you. ☺

Sunday Update - there are certain things your captain needs to do and few questions about team's stats to answer before time specified in Sunday Update thread. I believe that if your captain can't do it, one of other players can jump in.
Since you are new team, I'm sorry to say, those previous cupcakes are 'lost' for you.

BOM's cupcakes - you actually need to participate in buddy read not just with answering and commenting. To 'earn' that cupcake you need to be the person who asks questions (DQ - discussion questions). Before every BOM there is period where you can 'reserve' chapters you'd like to do.
Let me guess, the team you're asking about is Cadet Blue? :D Most of the Moderators of NBRC are part of that team and they are usually doing DQ (unless somebody else wants to).

Edit:
If I said something wrong, I'm sure one of the Mods will correct me soon. ☺

That's OK. I don't mind getting more than one answer from same team. And you never know, maybe hers was wrong.

Just don't tell my teammates I'm playing with puzzles! They think I'm reading. :P

Good question. ☺ I forgot to switch cupcakes for you.
Romeo & Juliet still need to have their HEA, so there is one more.
Harry Potter (word finds/crosswords) is done.

Yes, I'll be posting puzzles on Friday. Most of them will be easy so you can finish them by the end of the month.
Or if I decide to do something more complicated, there is possibility you'll get day or two extension (like you had with Blues&Pinks last round).
