Julie Wenzel (juliewenzel) I'm not sure if this is a good spot to put this, but I have a little question for those that follow comics.

What are some good websites out there that focus on reviewing and covering comic books? I ask because a friend of mine is finishing up a zombie comic book of his and I am trying to direct him to some nice websites.

What sites do you frequent (besides Goodreads of course). :)

If you're a blogger or reviewer yourself, feel free to contact me. He's up for interviews and review copies.

If nothing else I'm just interested in good comic book websites.

Kevin Izworski | 75 comments I get a lot of good info from comic vine. It's fun to read the fanboys argue who would win in fights between their favorite characters on that site too (gets ugly sometimes).

Julie Wenzel (juliewenzel) Oh I could only imagine the fights! Haha! Yes, that is a good site, thanks!

Sam Quixote (samquixote) Comics Alliance is outstanding - the best comics site on the web.

I contribute to WhatCulture!'s Comics Section and like to think we have some good stuff on there.

And then lastly there's some shameless self-promotion on my part - my blog That'll Do collects all my writings from sites I contribute to like WhatCulture!, Nudge, Amazon, Goodreads, and Den of Geek in one place.

Julie Wenzel (juliewenzel) Thanks for the links! I've heard of Comics Alliance before but not WhatCulture! WhatCulture looks to be a really neat site. Bookmarked. :)

Josh Perks | 15 comments I guess as you asked, I have recently set up a site that I am putting reviews up on regularly. Very much in its infancy but I have high hopes for it :)

Ronyell (rabbitearsblog) | 345 comments As someone mentioned, Comic Vine is a pretty good place to get comic book recommendations.

I actually do some comic book reviews on my blog, so you could check it out here:

Nicky Wheeler-Nicholson | 27 comments Hi Julie,
There are quite a few good comic book blogs that do reviews as well as talk about industry issues. One avenue to finding out about reviewers would be for your friend to get on LinkedIn and join the comics groups there. There are several good comic book groups and there is usually a place for people to ask for reviews of their work. Lots of accomplished people in the industry join in the discussions so it's worth the time and a great way to network and connect.

Kenneth Morrison | 4 comments Two really great comic book sites that also do reviews that get a lot of traffic are www.newsarama.com and www.comicbookresources.com. You should definitely check them out.

Martin (martinnl) | 16 comments Me and a bunch of guys recently started a blog, called The 9th Blog. We all love comics and want to share that with everyone that wants to hear about it. Being from around the globe our comics selection will reflect that. Not all books reviewed are available in English (yet), but that doesn't take away our enthusiasm to write about them and to show everyone what's available. You'll mainly find non-big two comics related stuff here.

Check it out at http://the9thblog.blogspot.com

Nicky Wheeler-Nicholson | 27 comments Since this is the place for self-promotion, I'll put in a plug for an interview that Kim Munson did with me about my grandfather, Major Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson, who founded DC Comics. Gerard Jones who wrote Men of Tomorrow and I are collaborating on an upcoming bio and I've just come out with a book of MWN's adventure stories, The Texas-Siberia Trail that he wrote before he started the comics. The blog is called Comics Alternative http://comicsalternative.com/2014/06/.... Thanks.
