I was born on a cusp between two zodiac signs. Cusp-ies are supposed to (for those that believe these things) show qualities of both signs. My sign is air and my almost-but-not-quite sign is a water sign. My moon sign is also a water sign. I thought the below cover was appropriate because the diving helmet represents the air that is completely on all sides surrounded by water.

Sorry to post them all in two days but I half-wrote the reviews and then procrastinated and procrastinated some more and then realized I had a deadline, lol. I always did well under pressure in school. But I promise that this is it for me for this challenge. Sorry and thanks!
Here are the final numbers for the August/September Reading Challenge. For your information, the total number of pages read by the eleven people who participated in this challenge was 38,827! Amazing! I hope that each of you had as much fun as I did in doing all of this reading. I appreciate so much these challenges that JoLene has put together for us. I have learned so much about so many pieces of history because of these things! Thanks to all of you for your participation and patience with me as I have kept up the scoreboard for this challenge!Cheryl 633

*Alicja: Posts 73, 74,75, 76, & 79 You did not give yourself credit for HF and so I have added those pts. On post 78, your link to your review does not work. You have 5 more pts if that is fixed. Some of your pts for number of pages were not according to the score provided at the beginning of the challenge. I have adjusted them according to the challenge rules.
Diane: Post 64 Addition incorrect, -3 pts
Jayme: Post 65 300 pgs= 2 pts, not 4.
@cheryl, thanks so much for keeping score! And congrats on being on top (I'm sure those two things are not related ;-).
I'm glad I finally got to participate for a change :-)
I'm glad I finally got to participate for a change :-)
JoLene, I was so glad to see that you were able to get some major reading done again, too!No, problem on doing the scoring. The only reason I got so much reading in this time is because I was feverishly working on getting my Master's level stuff done and getting on with the PhD stuff. I am afraid because of the nature of the PhD reading, I will not be doing much on the current challenge...it just does not look like what I am reading is going to do well with fitting in with the questions. I think just 5 of the books I read for this challenge did not fit into my Master's work (graphic novel and the 4 banned books).
Thank you Cheryl for everything! Sorry about the scoring, this is the first challenge and it got me a bit confused. Thank you!!Here is the link that hopefully works for the review in 78 for Knight of Swords: http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...

Jake Epping gets a rare chance to go back in time to right some wrongs done in the past. Arriving in 1958, he works to change life for people who were victims of crime, but his ultimate goal is to stop the Kennedy assassination. While passing through the late '50s and early 60s he meets a special group of people in a small town in Texas. As he tracks Lee Harvey Oswald, he begins to doubt whether or not to
