New ISBN number

Hi there -

My publisher is working with a new distributor and I have a new ISBN for my book (both 10 and 13) - the old one still works as well. So I wasn't sure how to add the new ISBNS without messing up reviews, shelves, etc. Help please?

Just add a new edition of the book and combine it with the existing edition. (What you should never do (even if the old ISBN is no longer for sale) is edit the existing record to change its old ISBN to the new one.)

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question - so is there a special way to add a new edition for the same book? Or do I just add it like it's a new, separate book and then combine that with the older edition?

Okay - so I tried this, and it looks like somebody else already did it. Here is the book page w/the new ISBN- http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/18...

But it's linked to this author page instead of mine - http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...

Is there a way to delete that author page and combine the book page w/the current edition? GR won't let me do it.
