hi everyone. I added a new shelf category of books that are on the 1001 books to read list in this lifetime (before you die seems morbid! )
So although I only started the shelf you can still check it out so far!

hi Deionsia! thank you for the book suggestion. it looks like a touching book. I added it to my personal recommendations list and to the Short and sweet bookshelf under Young Adult. :)

Hi, Claire!
Thank you for posting some suggestions. Return to Love: Reflections on the Principles of "A Course in Miracles" is about 330 pages, so it wouldn't fit the criteria of less than 250 pages. However, if you would like to set this up as a side/buddy read w/ someone, feel free! If you need help with it, let me know.
So I added The Age of Miracles on our TBR, YA shelf! That looks like a good one. Again, thank you for the ideas. Keep thinkin'!
:)

Laura, hope I'm looking this up correctly--when I did "search" inside the group, I didn't find Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse. I used to teach this slim volume in high school, and the students responded well to this whole new culture from India. It's 160 pages.
Anil wrote: "The Passion by Jeanette Winterson. It is only 160 pages."
Added, Anil. Thank you for the suggestion. It falls under our Historical Fiction and 1001 Books categories.

Oh, I'm always up for an "ah ha!" moment, A.L! The book is on our shelf. Thank you for the suggestion!

That's fine, Anil. It fits under our memoir/biography shelf!

Married Love and Other Stories
You Know When the Men Are Gone
Girls in Trucks
GR does say GIT is over 250 because they count the blank pages in the back. My hardback only has 241 pages with print on them.

The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency by Alexander McCall Smith
The Cat Who Could Read Backwards by Lilian Jackson Braun It has 256 pages according to Goodreads, but it seems like an interesting book.
Real Murders by Charlaine Harris This has multiple editions and the page count varies from 175 to 304 pages. I have no idea how many pages it actually has, so if miss Moderator thinks the page count is too vague, I understand if it's not added.

Hi, Inkeri! Haha! Miss Moderator is fine as long as she can find an edition of less than 250 p! Thank you for the suggestions, they have been added!
