Delirium
question
If there was a 4th book or an epilogue, how would you end the series?

How would you end the delirium series? What in your version would happen? Who ended up with who and what happened to society? This is like an ending in you eyes. I hope to see some creative alternate endings!

not only would i want to continue the story with Alex to see where it goes, but i think that there;s something to be said about finding out what Julien ended up doing. did he stay with them, did he go off on his own, was he matched with anyone? (meaning did he choose someone on his own, got 'get matched) and what happened with Hanna.
i'd like to think that the government was overthrown and that people were able to make their own choices. I don't know how exactly i'd want things to go since i'm not a fan of stories following a prescribed path, but i'd definitely like to know more about what went on.

this is how my ending would go:
There's a big war
Julian dies
Alex and Lena live happily ever after.

I would've gone with an epilogue that took place a few years later, possibly at the end of the revolution. It would briefly explain how Lena and Alex are mending their relationship and things are looking good for them. It would talk about Hanna's welbeing and say how Lena keeps in touch with her and they still go running every Sunday. Julian went to Washington to become a leader in the new government. Lena could briefly mention how he responded to her breakup (but not go into details, just say it was hard for him at first but he was able to focus on politics instead). I would leave the whole story with a feeling of a new beginning and hope. And it would've only taken a few paragraphs.
It would something of how Lena doesn't end up with neither Julian nor Alex, she decides she wants to go live far away and have a new life with her little cousin and then she gets married to a guy she never thought she'd have these kind of feelings for and she carries his babies. Alex and Julian become best friends and never speak of Lena again. They marry 2 sisters. the cure of the disease that is love will be optional it won't be completely gone. whoever want to have will have it and whoever doesn't wont. Hana will have an ordinary life but then her loneliness will be so bad she'll be depressed and later on becomes mad so she goes into a mental hospital where she meets a girl who looks like Lena and they'll be friends.
