Does that mean GONE is going to be a TV show or a movie? Either way, this is cool! GONE is one of my favorite sci-fi books.

YESSSSSHH! Making the series a show? That's a whole lot of source material which means a whole lot a episodes and promise. Please let this be a sure thing. Can't wait to see what they'll do with casting.I know they want unknowns but I've always imagined Elle Fanning as Astrid.

The rights have Just Been sold. Now they'll need To write the script, find investors cast the characters etc. If This is going To happen (cause there are a lot of rights that get sold but which won't make it to the screen) it won't be in the next year....
Yea, it's gonna take a while. They don't have directors yet either.

I SOOO HOPE THIS HAPPENS...probs won't be as good as the book but i so hope it will still be good. Hopefully this series is gonna live up to the book.

Does that mean that each book will be a new season, you know. To break it up a bit.
I really can't wait. I loved this series. I don't care if it is a movie or a tv series- as long as they make it. However, what would it be rated because if they stick wholly to the book, it might be rated M or Ma 15+ by the time they reach the last book. I hope they stick to the book because then they might not ruin it.

NO!! I haven't heard anything on this! I love this series and very passionate about it because I feel like these books are my childhood, but if it is then I'm fine with it as long as its close like Hunger Games or might not I won't watch it; I don't know.

ahhh that would be totally awesome!! Except, of course, for the part where they change absolutely everything... (sorry to be pessimistic but I'm kinda just trying to not get my hopes up too much)
i'm happy, but they seriously need to make the characters more prettier they are all too ugly...
