Somewhere on Goodreads, there was a page or discussion that offered help in finding a book to read. I think it was in this group somewhere. I am looking for dystopian/apolocalyptic books that involve a virus killing off most of the population.

HiWithout being too forward can I recommend mine?
To The Survivors
I have also blogged on the subject.
There are more reviews on Amazon.com if you want to see what other people think. Pleased with the response so far, although as usual a few errors have crept in, I am in the process of amending before updating.
I am almost done reading the "Born" trilogy. It's about a young woman and her wolf, 10 years after a virus that killed off most of the world. I highly recommend it! It's by Tara Brown and I got mine on my Kindle.

I like my post apocalypse more grown up and I'm tired of Zombies and vampires.
I highly recommend Margaret Atwood's series:Oryx and Crake
The Year of the Flood
Madd Adam (coming soon)
She is one of the most brilliant speculative fiction authors of our time.
No - NOT really for kids. There is rape, sex (not graphic). There are some zombie like creatures - in some people the virus did not kill them but mutated and they have fried brains and no voice boxes. Creepy, but not really zombies. I am NOT a zombie or vampire fan!!! There is romance, a bit of a love triangle that is teenlike, but also the discovery of adult love. The Breeder Farms and the whole "master race" part sucked me in. I have been up until 4 am too many nights the last week or two reading this trilogy. Lots of twists.
Jane wrote: "And Phillip - I have purchased and downloaded your book - it's next on my list!"Thank you - very kind I hope you enjoy it.
I'll check the trilogy out.
