SOLVED. NA romance possibly- navy seal? [s]

I think it is a Navy Seal staying in a cabin in the middle of nowhere and a lost woman stumbled upon the cabin. I believe this was a novella leading up to the full length novel.

Christina Skye has a series of romance books featuring SEALs as characters. I've only read one, so I'm not sure if what you are describing is one of them, unfortunately.

Could it be Into the Fire? If I remember correctly, it begins with a depressed Seal is staying in a cabin and he is dragged back to the world by a female acquaintance.

Lora Leigh, Lisa Marie Rice,and Cindy Gerard also have SEAL series. I've read Christina Skye as well and I think you might be looking for either her or Cindy Gerard. The only thing is that I don't believe any of the series have novellas like the one you described
