I loved it but if you don't like it, you probably won't like the rest

I always have a problem with books in a series. I'll love the first book but when I read the second it just isn't good and I get bored, it ruins it for me. Is the second one of this series good like the first is or is it not worth it?
Omg, how can you even be saying this? I LOVE these books with all my heart, but I know it can be a bit off putting because of the writing style... But you should keep going, it's really good and you grow to love the characters

Thank you so muchfor all your comments. I WASNT saying its bad. But I will continue reading it. Im on the second book right now and I am a bit woried for viola. :)

Finished them! It's so worth all the emotional trauma you will experience!

these books ruined my life. hahhaha no other books excite me as much. i havent been attached to characters like i have in Chaos Walking, and i was even in the Harry Potter craze way back. haha. but its up to you! i think you should though.

IMHO, this series is immature. It means well, really. Unfortunately, the characters are quite limited and are never fully fleshed out. They do grow, but they remain a bit two-dimensional. I think that this is, in part, due to the writing style. Some people say this writing style is revolutionary. Eh. It's not. There are countless examples of this very type of writing in literature, and throughout the last century. The ONLY reason that I'll continue this series is because I bought the series in bulk rather than one book at a time. I'm not saying that I hate Chaos Walking. I am saying that there are better dystpian, and even sci-fi, books out there. I also think I need a break from the YA genre as a whole for a little while.

I read the first took too and was also wondering if the others are any better.I have this flaw where I HAVE to finish a story, even if I think the book sucks I can't NOT finish a book. So I've read the first with every intention of reading more because I just can't help it...even though I didn't think it was that great.
Does anyone else think the main character is annoying?
NOOOO I love Todd will all my heart he's not annoying at all :(((
