Okay, the knife was on the end table while Garrett was packing his backpack... (just a side note.
I totally enjoyed the scene with the DA - fun. And the attorney whispering cracked me up. I love the way Charleys brain works. "My discomfort mounted. Not a horse or anything. Maybe something small like a donkey or a goat." HAHAHAHA
OK - and Swopes has a kid?!?!?!?! How will that impact the plotline?

I got the feeling he MIGHT...since he said the family was good. But at the same time, I really liked revisiting someone from so long ago. ;)

I had completely forgotten about our ghost attorney until he showed up to help Charley with the plea arrangement. And that he was whispering when no one else would be able to hear him was hilarious!!! I love when past characters come back for cameos.
Swopes with a kid???? WTH??? Didn't see that one coming at all!

Chapter 15 seemed like a turning point in the arsonist plotline. What did you think about Charley going head to head with Captain Eckhert and the DA? Pretty ball-sy right? Also, how cool is having a ghost lawyer? :D
