Absolutely loved it. A brilliant, loving, horrifying, deep book. Not a word wasted.

Magic. My brother called it an 'origin story,' and I think that's the best summing-up I've seen yet!

I loved the idea that there could be some magic in my own past, something that is a part of me but that I don't remember unless I'm at the source. (And since I didn't grow up any one place, I've no idea where that source might be!)
