Hock Tjoa (hockgtjoa) Thanks for introducing me to another take on Sherlock. Finally, Basil Rathbone no longer fills my mind when I think of the master sleuth. Latest movie/TV offerings are a mixed bag, IMHO.

The truth is that Sherlock Holmes was never meant to be played by Calvin Klein models. By definition, he is an older man with lines in his face, narrow/hawk-like features, a sharply protruding straight/hooked nose, & thin lips. Tall & wiry rather than muscular, a misogynist, heavy smoker, and full of misanthropic behaviors.
