Writing under a pen name?

I wrote my first two novels under my real name Gaynor Baker but plan on using a form of it (G. Norah Baker) if I ever write another. Norah was the name I used in high school to stop people teasing me about my first name or from thinking I was a boy! :)

You betcha! It's just as important as the name on a cereal box --- or, if hold your mouth right, the chrome badge on a hot new convertible.

I'm currently building a background six (seven if you count SailorTheDog) "brand names" and each will be identified a different genre of work.

The downside is that I can lose track of which one I am at any given moment so I created an online support group where they can get together and talk.
