So I've got 20% left to go- they are at Jamie's grandsire's place and nothing about Gellis yet.......
It's probably in the last 5-10% of the book. My interest was waning in the story at the point where you're at, but the end had me reserving Voyager at the library that night. I started reading it last night. I'm hooked again.
Yep- I'm struggling- thus speed reading. I think this book has been such a slog because you know from the beginning that she will go back to frank and that Jamie dies (and so do I)....... I can't relax into the narrative because I'm so flipping anxious about the result!!
Done. Loved the Roger tie in. Clever.
Will start voyager later today. SO CURIOUS about how they come back together!! Will one of them be older and the other younger? Will Brianna go back too? Will Roger?

Ok I'm finally in the middle of DiA enough that this thread isn't spoilery.. Too much. I gotta say that I'm not I to this book as much as the first one. For all the reasons you guys have mentioned but also because they are not in Scotland. Paris is Paris and its great I love it. A lot. But it's not Scotland. Jamie needs to be in Scotland.

The irony is not lost on me that I may fail my literature subjects at university this semester because of my love of literature, i cannot get my head out of this series!!!!Jamie's just busted Mary and Claire out of Sandringhams place-so kick-arse-loving this series!

I know what you mean! But apparently she's also beautiful and very attractive to a lot of men (not unlike Jamie erm) so I guess she can't be all THAT masculine and angular... ;)
Brianna is the feminine version of Jamie. Jamie is Handsome and Brianna is beautiful!

I have been trying to read this book for over a year... i keep picking it up and then stopping because its dragging for me.. I blew by the first book so quickly and this one.. I just can't get into it.

Don't fold to the group pressure! Not everyone has to like George Clooney. Or Sam Heughan as it were. ;)
1. Do we ever find out about how/why the heck Gellis came back to the 1700's? What her real motives were etc? (A yes/no answer will suffice).....
