1. Do ..."
1. Yes.
2. You learn more about her in Voyager, too.
So I've got 20% left to go- they are at Jamie's grandsire's place and nothing about Gellis yet.......

Yep- I'm struggling- thus speed reading. I think this book has been such a slog because you know from the beginning that she will go back to frank and that Jamie dies (and so do I)....... I can't relax into the narrative because I'm so flipping anxious about the result!!
Done. Loved the Roger tie in. Clever.
Will start voyager later today. SO CURIOUS about how they come back together!! Will one of them be older and the other younger? Will Brianna go back too? Will Roger?
Can't wait for a J&C reunion!!

P.S. my hubby and I are also J&C (Jai and Christine)......... I now have a VERY SMUG sense of pride about that!
Sam Heughan has INSTA!! I JUST DIED!!

I know what you mean. Plus, we ALL need to be in Scotland much more of the time! ;) Try Voyager, though. It's not Scotland-exclusive, but you get some!

I'm sure house and kids are doing just fine on their own...glad you're enjoying yourself! My summer was hijacked by Claire and Jamie!

is anyone else picturing Brianna as Jamie in a dress? From the description of her, (too tall, sharp angles, red hair, "too long" nose)
I cannot get that image out of my head! please tell me I'm not the only one lol

I know what you mean! But apparently she's also beautiful and very attractive to a lot of men (not unlike Jamie erm) so I guess she can't be all THAT masculine and angular... ;)

Don't force it! Like attraction, the timing and the chemistry has to be right. Move on to another book. Maybe check in later and see if your feelings have changed. Don't fold to the group pressure! Not everyone has to like George Clooney. Or Sam Heughan as it were. ;)
1. Do we ever find out about how/why the heck Gellis came back to the 1700's? What her real motives were etc? (A yes/no answer will suffice).....
2. WHEN???? (Soon? Soonish? Never?)
