Anyway, now at Chapter 4. I love seeing characters appear here from Along for the Ride (which I really loved!). I wonder if Eli and others will, too? Since the setting is the same. Just remembered their mantra: No, no, no to Tallyho! Lol. And I swear Dessen has talent in making good brand/shop or any type of business names!

I haven't read Along for the Ride yet. Who shows up in The Moon and More from Along for the Ride?

Katy, you should read it! I enjoyed that book. Anyway, it's Auden, Heidi, and Maggie :) They manage Clementine's together with Daisy.

Kathryn if you have read other books by Sarah Dessen they don't contain much romance. They're all more about family & self. I don't know about this since it's her newest book.

I've only just made it to chapter two. Her father seems all talk an no action. I love Sarah's Writing though and how her text flows so easily. Like one chapter she's writing the background of Emalines father, and then they're at the shower.

Just finished. The plot was non existent and not much was happening actually. This was still a good story by Sarah Dessen, with the usual mild romance, family values, and self realization and a lot of quotable quotes, but if I would compare her other works, this was just in the "okay" category. Didn't entirely liked it, but still enjoyed a few parts. At times, I got bored.

What I liked most is probably the writing. It has amazing descriptions about Colby, about it being a small town, and all the goodness out of it. As well as the room descriptions at Colby Realty. I loved how it made me feel like I was transported to the setting. I was able to picture it perfectly. I figured that there was really no plot, since the author seems to write more on character study, but I got bored sometimes.

I think what I didn't like was the absurdity of Luke and Emaline's breakup. I mean at some point we're expecting a breakup already, but I felt it has an ugly timing. I still liked how they became friends after it, and still talk to each other and not be bitter, and no weirdness or awkwardness. It was a mature kind of acceptance.

I started reading this and so far it's pretty good. I'm still wondering how it's all going to connect together. And with what's happening I'm also wondering how the author might finish the story.

The dynamics of this book changed so much in the space of a couple of chapters. It definitely left the suspense there - but not sure whether too much happened at one point in time. And Emaline, just doesn't seem to be feeling too real at the moment - just her train of thought is really weird.

I really enjoyed this book. Gave me a sense of fantasy during a holiday period. Would have been better for me to read sitting on the beach though.

Chapter 1-3:
(view spoiler)[I see a love triangle in the future! So far though, I really like Emaline and Luke together. I don't know if I want her to fall for the new boy. He seems nice, but IDK! I just hope that Emaline doesn't cheat on Luke with him.

Also, the situation with the father seems confusing and I have a feeling it's going to play a big part in the rest of the book. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 4-9:

(view spoiler)[Okay, so I take that back. Luke has taken a turn for the worse. I can't believe he broke up with Emaline over something like that! But, now I see a path for Theo to come into her life romantically, especially after that kiss. I want to get to know more about him because right now I'm not too sure about him.

On another note, I love Benji and Emaline's relationship. I feel like he's going to play a huge part in the story and maybe bring Emaline and her father closer together? (hide spoiler)]
