I see you're interested in History. Have you read anything by Iain Pears? I've been putting off one of his books for centuries (ha ha), but will get to it fairly soon I hope.

Yes, I teach 7th grade Social Studies. We have a 21 minute period each day just for sustained silent pleasure reading. We maintain classroom libraries so I try to read some adolescence 7literature. Eon Coffler is a good author.
