Niknik (nik_nik) | 43 comments Could you please fix (possibly, REadjust) the page numbers currently listed for the KINDLE version of "Brilliance" by Marcus Sakey?

The Kindle version (#B00AESRRQS) of the book has 443 pages (plus an additional seven pages numbered in Roman numerals at the beginning); NOT 324.

The ASIN # according to Amazon.com is B00AESRRQS. (This is the version I purchased & am referring to.)

This version in Goodreads now only lists 324 pages as of today (7/23/13) when yesterday (7/22/13) the version I selected said 450 pages (thus including the pages "i thru vii").

I don't know if there was a change made since yesterday but "324" pages is not what the Kindle lists.
According to my Kindle, I'm on "page 37 of 443", which is 9%.

Can this be corrected please?

Thank you, Nik

FYI: I don't know why but...As with most Amazon.com book listings, the website says the pages are based on the print book version & the ISBN 13 & ISBN 10 inside the KINDLE version are the same as the paperback - 9781611099690 or 1611099692. There's also a Library of Congress #2012922334, if that helps any.

I think I found out why you had a different page number than me:
The book is actually 434 pages, but the remaining pages (to 443) are an excerpt from a sequel & acknowledgements. But my Kindle still included in the page count.

Thanks again :)

Sandra | 31514 comments Regardless of what the kindle included in the page count, we don't include excerpts, so those should be taken out of the page count for that kindle edition. We do the same thing for paperbacks etc.

Fandury | 127 comments This reminds me why I normally leave page count empty when entering the kindle version. But after having checked my version, it also ends on page 434 when excluding the excerpt, so I change pagecount to this.
