Jane, I'll answer that one!When you claim the spot for the book, compare it to the door covers and pick the one you think it's closest to... if there is any concern about it matching a different blue better, I'm sure Monsieur Mango will let you know :)
Rules have been read :) For the books made into movies category: If there's a series of books that have been made into movies -- or if even one from the series is now a movie -- does only the first book in the series count? Or would ANY book from that series work? (That's worded terribly, I hope you understand what I'm asking!)

Yes, Goodreads needs to update their servers to handle the capacity of visitors. They should be happy about it! X)

No. Thankfully, Amazon hasn't invaded the site, just bought it.But the server capacity does need to be fixed!
But I thought Amazon would ... lend? some of its resources to fix the problems -- like server capacity, like broken searches -- that exist in GR. Guess I was expecting too much!
I have read the rules. I have a question. I am going on vacation August 9-16, I will most likely not have access to a computer, is it okay if I claim three spots before I leave? That way I can take books with me and know they will help out the team?

"The only caveat I would add is to be certain you'll finish the books no later than August 31 before you claim the spots :) I know I often have good intentions to read a lot while I'm on vacation, but usually bring most of my books home ... unread LOL

With where I am going for vacation, I will have plenty of time to read. Even if I don't finish all three on the trip, I will finish them before the end of the month.
I just went into a flesh and blood bookshop (first time in ages) and picked up my copy of Phillipa Gregory's The White Princess already for the challenge.
It's too dangerous for me to go into a brick & mortar bookstore, I always walk out with a wallet that's a LOT lighter than when I walked in! Enjoy your book, Lisa :)
