I updated the original post with all of the download links where you can get Fine Wine for free.

Here's the link:

In my classification system of alcoholic beverages Fighters get Beer/Ale, Clerics get single malt whiskeys, those pesky magic-types (who shouldn't be drinking anyway) get girly cocktails (adulterated alchemy, both of them)...but the Rogue is the only trope worthy of wine.
Why is your's enamored of Syrah -that upstart grape from down under? lol...yes, I really enjoyed both your stories. (and I'd pay to enjoy the next one :D)

It was going to be syrah or red zinf, which I'm more partial to myself. I'm not even sure why syrah, to tell you the truth. That's probably the first wine I saw in our wine rack. :-)
Thanks for the comments and glad you liked the stories. I'm wrapping up the next book in my Alchemancer series, then I'm going to jump back into this one with some longer stories.

The Goddard Affair (A Tale of the Assassin Without a Name #4) is officially released!
Here's the cover, blurb, and a few links.

The Assassin Without a Name is on the hunt, looking for the secret organizations which recently tried to kill him before they can try again. But the work of his trade doesn't stop just because of personal business, so when a new client named Walter Goddard comes around wishing to have a rival eliminated, the Assassin Without a Name takes the job.
Only after the task is complete does he learn that Walter Goddard is a member of the Society for the Progression of Science and Technology, one of the very same organizations he's been seeking. At one of the society’s premiere technology galas, the Assassin Without a Name meets Gwendolyn Morgan, a beautiful widow who has run into problems of her own with the society. Not only does she believe the organization hired an assassin to murder her husband, but she’s certain she’s next. Convincing himself he’s only helping Gwendolyn in exchange for the society’s darkest secrets and not because of his part in making the woman into a widow, the Assassin Without a Name finds himself in the unusual role of protector as the society dispatches their Black Guard watchdogs to kill them both.

This week, Fine Wine is free. I'm not spreading the word too widely on the other titles coming up free in the coming weeks, but figure why not for members of Fantasy Aficionados?
Fine Wine is a short but sweet introduction to the title character. It will neither cost you any money to download nor take up too much of your time. Thanks in advance for downloading, reading, and, if you so choose (I hope you do), reviewing.
Here's the Amazon link.

Watch for Night of Zealotry, the 3rd story in the series, to come up free late next week.

This time it's Night of Zealotry (A Tale of the Assassin Without a Name #3), available for free until 9/15.
Happy downloading!

The Goddard Affair (A Tale of the Assassin Without a Name #4) is free on Amazon until 9/22!
Each Assassin Without a Name story is a self-contained tale unto itself, but as the story progresses, strange forces are on the move, and our witty assassin will find himself embroiled in a secret war where all is lost no matter who wins.
I hope you give it a read!
The Assassin Without a Name series is a growing collection of short stories and novellas featuring a witty assassin with a penchant for fine wine. While each story is a self-contained tale unto itself, as the story progresses, strange forces are on the move, and our assassin will find himself embroiled in a secret war where all is lost no matter who wins.
Sound intriguing?
If so, please take a look at the first two stories in the series: Fine Wine and Killing the Dead (links below). They're both usually free (check before purchasing) and widely available. If you like those, next in the series is Night of Zealotry and, the latest, The Goddard Affair.
I'll add new posts to this thread as each story makes its way out. Thanks!
