I have to join! My birthday is on August 14th, and I end up getting a gift card every time! (NOT COMPLAINING! Lol!) Hopefully, I'll be able to order it then, and since I'm a member, I get free 3 day shipping. Hopefully it'll be here on time, if I get the chance to order it. Fingers crossed!

Yay! Today's the day!!
Okay girls, this is the big day for us! I will be starting this one later in the day after church and my husband wants me to go to this warehouse across the street from where he works because it is having a huge sale. He got a $120 lined jacket for $15 and a bunch of T-shirts for $5, so I guess I'll acquiesce and go. I am not in the shopping mood! I shopped yesterday for BOOKS! LOL

No, my friend ended up having to come over due to unforeseen circumstances, so I was unable to read anything today after my last updates.

I am moving slowly, goi g back and forth between three books so no rush. I am only four or five chapters in I think. I am guessing. I have listened to about two of around 17 hours. The story is starting to pick up.
I'm in ch. 18 of Sweet Venom and it's really exciting! I love the allusions to Greek mythology. I've been reminded of myths I've not thought about for a while. I started Partials but I forced myself to put it down so I don't get so behind on other books, but I was really drawn in to the story right away. I'm excited to get back to it. Juggling recreational reading with my professional reading and student papers isn't easy. Recreational doesn't usually get to win. Lol
I've only been able to read the first chapter. I was loaded woth chores and soccer practice today :(
I have two grandkids who are majorly into soccer! My grandson has even been written up in the L.A. Times!! He's a senior in high school. My 12 year old granddaughter is on a traveling team and indoor team. She's always in a tournament, so I know how busy soccer can keep you! Lol
That's pretty cool!! And yes lol, it is quite busy, especially with college starting for me in a week :)

I made it Chapter 7 and I'm loving it :) I hope to get at least half-way done before I fall asleep tonight. Well at least that's my plan lol
I think I am on chapter 14ish? I am about 1/4 through.
I started it, but only just got 1 chapter in and I'm falling asleep. I like so far, Marcus is a ham!! I like Kira, she seems pretty sweet! I'll read more with breakfast in the morning! Good night! :D

Well my plan hadnt worked last night lol I fell asleep almost as soon as I picked up the book. I've only read up to Chapter 8
I'm 5 chapters in so it's all good! I like it so far, I have all kinds of theories going to through my head right now about different parts of the story. Not going to voice any right now, it's too early for that.
I like the characters too and the plot is good. I'll post again later.

Lol, so are you about to switch over to reading Partials? And I was unable to read anything else from what I had already read - soccer practice ran longer than I thought it would.
