25 chapters in and i'm kind of confused so I'm hoping you guys can give me some clarity when you get to where I am! lol!!

Kira (view spoiler)[ I think she's discovering things that maybe she's not supposed to? Why else would they have killed Shaylon? Or did they just want to prevent chaos because once people found out about this new strand of virus? But I really don't think that was it! She even thought it might have been a part of the process, Stage 2 she called it in the process of the virus taking over the body. So then did Mkele and Skousen act prematurely?

They said her reserearch was distroyed in the attack, but I get the feeling of one or two things; first thing is it could have been the voice to cause the attack, but it was the senate to distroy her research! Second thing is it was the senate to blow them up because they have been watching and listening to everything she was doing and everything they said! I just can't figure out why they wouldn't want her to finish her task. (hide spoiler)]

Samm (view spoiler)[ He said they were coming to make peace with them, but why did they try to kill them? What did they mean "which group"? What is his secret? And what does he mean by they need the partial's help with just more than finding a cure? (hide spoiler)]

The senate (view spoiler)[ I don't trust them! Why lower the age for girls to get pregnant to 16? I just don't understand why they can't see that getting more girls pregnant more offten and as offten as possible is the way to go! I mean after 11 years and the 99.996 percentage rate of immunity to the virus you would think that they would try to come up something different! I mean that's all they talk about is survival of the human race, but yet they don't try anything new! It doesn't make sense!! (hide spoiler)]

At least they got the cure to Arwen, but Jayden died! I'm not happy about that! I still don't trust the senate! Especially Hobb!

I think she will find Samm in the next book, but do you think they will get together? I hated the way Marcus left when she told him good-bye, but I can't blame him and she can't tell him why either! So frustrating! (hide spoiler)]

Okay, I finally finished part one! Sorry it's taking so long. Other books are more interesting than this one at the moment. I don't like the fact that (view spoiler)[Marcus acted the way he did when Kira told him her plan. Then he wanted to just take them off somewhere so no one would ever find them just so she wouldn't go! He should understand that she would hate him more if he did that to her! The whole RM thing is completely weird too. If they all carry it, then why aren't they dead? Shouldn't looking at the research show what makes them immune to it and not the babies by comparing the two??? (hide spoiler)]

The virus was weird! I had a hard time understanding it, the make-up of it and how the were supposed to combat it! Every time she would make a new discovery about it, I kept thinking haven't they already thought of that? Excpet when it came to Samm! I was just really confused about all of that and I think that is one of the main reasons it took me so long to read the book and why I didn't like it as much. (hide spoiler)]

I'm not surprised that Kira is a partial. And that picture?? What does that mean?? How could she not know that she knew Nandita before the war?? She remembered her dad but not her? (I might be wrong about this? I did skip a lot of parts but I'm pretty sure at the beginning that's what it said.)

Her dad is the only one she talked about remembering. How old was she before the plague? 4 years old, I think? But she still could have remembered Nandita. I'm surprised she never saw the picture until then...actually NO ONE saw the picture but Kira! How long had it been there? She prob put it out right before she took off (it was like 2 weeks she was gone?), but they were coming and going A LOT and no one noticed it?

I'm glad she left Marcus too! I think if he knew she was partial he would look at her differently, not the same at all! I think he was a good friend, but not good for her as a boyfriend/husband. :( (hide spoiler)]

The cure (view spoiler)[ She only had one syringe of the cure and doesn't know the formula, so she has to come up with that. It had to do with something in the partials breath...I don't know.

And the partials are dying, so she thinks the is a link between the cure, the virus and why they're dying. (hide spoiler)]

I don't know, I just hope it doesn't get too bad after this one! Or any worse! lol! :D
