That could happen, I kind of got the sense she had a crush on him so who knows. I would be up for anything that results in Maxon and America being together in the end.

i actually wouldn't be surprised if they ended up together. i think that she's got a lot of great qualities that he needs in a companion and she's not of a standing that's really above him to hurt his ego. i think for her sake too, she would get that sense of protection that she doesn't have because of what she's been through her whole life.

It's conflicting, of course halfway through the book you end up hating Maxon and of course America clings to Aspen as soon as Maxon messes up, when Aspen messes up she just get's closer to Maxon.. but I'm rooting for Maxon, he doesn't exactly have a lot of trust for other people, but he decided to tell her things he wouldn't have told others, I think she screwed up before, but has what it takes to be a princess. I'm thinking that Lucy will fall for Aspen because she's wanting something more, but she can't because in order to do that she'll need to marry a two or three from my understanding, and Aspen's now a.. two? If I remember right, he could be exactly what she needs. Then with Aspen out of the way and as Maxon as her prize, she has to get through the kind.. the king's messed up, and I never saw it coming, I don't even know what to think about him, he's going to do everything he can to send her home, and the ending threat scared me a bit, what if she's caught with Aspin..? and Maxon grows hurt, and decides to ask her to leave?

Being on team Maxon, I'm okay with whoever Aspen ends up with, as long as it's not America. But Lucy is a nice choice; she deserves to fall in love again.

Its clear that Lucy has a crush on Aspen and after reading the gaurd I really think that he could be what she needs and in a way I think that if Aspen and can see past America he could truly be happy and love Lucy. I think that would be really good together.
