2 of the 7 Deadly Sins

I would think Sloth would be the least harmful of the sins. If you can't get up to get into any trouble...
I was laugh that my greatest sins are Sloth and Greed but they cancel each other out. Lol.

very interesting!
very interesting!
Gluttony- For those who aren't aware Gluttony is the sin where food is used to tempt or play in to effect a person.
It was said some Kings and rulers died of gluttony because they over ate or had eating habits not of normal people.
Also it was thought that during these times that when royalty held parties that in their palaces they had rooms called Vomitoriums. This is correct however it's not for what you think. It's not a place to go to throw up food and then come back and stuff yourself again. It's actually the name of the long hallway in the beginning of a palace. Somewhere down the line someone got the truth mixed up and just assumed.
One story said that God came to a young man and told him he had to commit one sin, he figured gluttony was the least harmful one so decided on it. So he gets decides to use gluttony in the form of drinking. He gets drunk, stumbles into his parents room and unbeknownst to him ends up raping his own mom and killing his father. The morale of the story was he thought he chose the lesser of all sins and ended up committing, rape, incest and murder..Crazy!!
They showed a segment of Dante's Inferno where it shows gluttons in hell sitting on the ground naked eating nonstop. It then showed the mythical dog Cerberus watching over them from atop a cliff howling at them. The scene then cuts back to the gluttons who eat themselves to death.
Pride-
I won't get too much into this one cause we all know what pride is, heck some of us authors do it at times, when it's appropriate though not overdoing it.
Anyways the one story showed a young man who was enamored with himself. He thought he was so good looking that one day he stared at a reflection of himself in a pond for hours. Upon looking he fell into the pond and drowned. Morale of the story was he was killed by his own pride and good looks.
Thought I'd share that with everyone, I found it quite interesting.
