Chapter 9 - Whoever is in charge of making sure I don't do stupid shit is fired.

Holy Moly this chapter is a doozy! Charley gets spooked when Rocket reveals Reyes's name on his wall. She kinda goes a little bonkers. (Can't say that I blame her). What did you think when Rocket told her?

I was surprised at Charley's reaction because she was warned beforehand and saw Rocket's deep distress - that alone gave away whose name he was so afraid of telling her. But she completely lost it; I was taken aback at her reaction and subsequent threats. Since she didn't get a chance to make amends yet, I wonder if Rocket will be there for her when she tries to find him. Something tells me she'll have to work hard to get him back to trust her.

Yeah, I was wondering if that would be a problem with Rocket once Charley tries to visit again.

What did I think? HOW the hell is he going to get around this?!?!?!?!?! HOW DAMNIT! lol ;)

I felt so bad. :( I know Charley felt horrible just as soon as she left. But it WILL take so long for Rocket to trust her again. And Blue.

So - this is the chapter that Duff has the...odd..reaction to Mr. Wong.....????? What'd you think?!?!

I think he is sort o heaven police or ghost police checking on souls that rather not cross. Even though that theory doesn't hold as Angel doesn't seem to avoid Wong... On the other hand, he's helping Charley and she is royalty. Who would have thought that a character that barely exists and doesn't talk could bring up so manyquestions and keep the suspense going!...

Oooooh, so maybe he's a body guard or something... Good thinking Ines. :)

It is very interesting that Duff was the only one who had any sort of reaction to Wong. Everyone else who can see him either ignores him, or just thinks of him as quiet and weird because he doesn't "do" anything.

As far as Rocket goes, I believe he will forgive Charley. Blue may take a bit longer, simply because it took her so long to begin with to actually come out of hiding when Charley was around. At least I hope Rocket forgives easily and doesn't go ape shit like he did that one time in the previous book. Only time will tell...

I'm hoping he forgives quickly too. I was quite surprised at Duff's reaction to Mr. Wong. I was like "What the what???"

I can't blame Charley for going crazy about Reyes's name being on the wall but I was kind of surprised to see her react that way.
I don't think Rocket or Blue is going to trust Charley for awhile.
I'm also worried about what Reyes's name on the wall means and how he's going to avoid it. It makes me nervous and I can't wait til book 6 comes out so we can find out
