I still have a ton of books in my inventory on the swapping sites. I also have them posted here in the Goodreads swap if anyone is interested. :)

Just an FYI - I listed some more books for swap on PBS and BM if anyone is interested.

Nicole (nicole21) | 573 comments Reviving an old thread to say I'm posting some books on Bookmooch. My username is nicole721. Thinking about moving and really don't want to take a gazillion books with me if I do. Anyway, most of the books I post are going to be ARCs that I got for review. If any of you want what I've posted, I'm willing to send you 2 for 1.

I know exactly how you feel Nicole! I got rid of so many things before moving out of my apartment into my house. I was so tired of moving "stuff!" Good luck! I'm trying not to take on any new books, but I'll check out what you have posted. :)

Dawn rizzi (dawnie278) | 378 comments Stacy u finally have a house now is the time to build that dream library no?

Stacy (stacymarie913) | 5567 comments Mod
LOL, it's on the list with a million other things I want/need to do! :)

message 111: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (nicole21) | 573 comments A home library would be awesome (that and a really big shoe closet!), but will have to wait until I'm not going to move again. Most of the books I posted were requested right away, but I'm going to add more in the next few days.

Stacy (stacymarie913) | 5567 comments Mod
Yeah, I saw you're only down to one. LOL!

And I totally agree with the shoe closet idea!!!!

message 113: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (nicole21) | 573 comments Have you seen these shoe racks? http://www.containerstore.com/shop?pr... I have two on the back of my closet door. My dream is to have many, many more. I already have the shoes to fill them!

message 114: by Stacy (new)

Stacy (stacymarie913) | 5567 comments Mod
Those are really cool!! I wouldn't have the room for something like that until I build my dream closet!

message 115: by Dawn (new)

Dawn rizzi (dawnie278) | 378 comments I so might be going to pick those up. I have this weird space in my closet that I can't use and this might do the trick thanks Nicole.

message 116: by Bianca (new)

Bianca (bbollinger) | 761 comments Ugh I wish I was better with my shoes. They seriously just sit in a crazy mess on my closet floor.

They're amazing and really sturdy. I had a cheaper shoe rack that fell apart after about a year. I've had the Container Store one for a few years and it's like new. Hope you love them as much as I do.

Tara I need to get back on the swapping sites. I haven't been on in so long....

Funny you brought that up, I just posted a bunch of books on PaperbackSwap that I'm probably never going to get to.

Morgan has decided she wants to read the Harry Potter books and instead of getting them the library, I told her I'd check the swapping sites. I just used my last credit on PBS to get the second book. And bookmooch is being stupid today, can't get on there.

message 122: by Kourtney (new)

Kourtney (readthateventually) | 1215 comments And this means I must go check out your selection Stacy! I stopped using book mooch when the selection just died. I have so many points I started donating them. Still using pbs though.

message 123: by Bianca (new)

Bianca (bbollinger) | 761 comments Which site do you guys like better?! I haven't used either of them have asked so many times for info on them. Haha. I just need to get it and try it! Recently all of my books are library books and ebooks, so I haven't had too many actual books.

I wasn't able to get on Bookmooch yesterday, but I see it's working now. Which means I will be posting today the ones that I posted on PBS yesterday. :) And Kourtney, you just sent me a book for nothing (and I don't think it's the first time), let me know if there's anything you want and I'll just send them to you. :)

message 125: by Leeba (new)

Leeba Friedman | 60 comments Stacy do you ship internationally? And what is your username?

I like PBS better because people have a timeframe in which they HAVE to mail the book (and accept/reject the request), otherwise your request for it moves on to the next person. They operate on a first in, first out system. And, the books are generally in a nicer condition. (However, when posting books, you can get requests from some SUPER picky people, and that can be really annoying.)

Bookmooch on the other hand, you can choose a book from whomever has it available (I generally try to choose from the person that lives closest to me), and there's no timeframe for accepting or rejecting the request or mailing the book out. So sometimes, you have to wait forever, or cancel the request and try someone else. It's pretty annoying. But the site does give you the ability to make any notes as to the condition of the book, which is nice.

Ohhhhh that makes sense. I'm going to get a PBS account then! Thanks for taking the time to explain it all. :)

Jill Pierson-Kennard | 36 comments I made the mistake of taking a bad of books to Half Price books for a whole $7. Anyways I just listed a few on PBS (I think only 3, I'm a busy single mother that doesn't have too much time for reading). How long does it usually take until someone is interested?

It really depends on how popular the title is and how many other copies are available.

message 133: by Eva (new)

Eva | 259 comments i'd use PBS, but it's not world-wide :(

message 134: by Jill (new)
