I'm going to post my copy of Startled by His Furry Shorts on PBS unless someone else has credits on there and wants it. It's the 7th book in the Georgia Nicolson series - hilarious!!!!

I will be posting Barry Trotter and the Unauthorized Parody on PBS and BM by the end of this weekend. So far it's been funny to see how the author changes the characters, but be forewarned: there are a lot of references to sex, drugs, and violence. I don't recommend it for die-hard Harry Potter fans. A sense of humor is a MUST!

My aunt gave me a bunch of DVDs that she didn't want anymore, so I put them up on SwapADVD.com, which is one of PBS's sister sites. It works pretty much the same way that PBS does, just with DVDs instead of books. The good thing about using that site alongside PBS is that you can transfer credits between sites, so after I got 4 DVD orders, I transferred my credits to PBS. They transfer as 2 DVD credits for 3 PBS credits -- so I got 6 PBS credits out of it! :) Just thought I'd tell you guys in case you have some old DVDs lying around. It's a quick way to get PBS credits -- and DVDs are cheaper to mail than books (and they go First Class instead of Media Mail).

This is so funny Jen! I've been doing that and I totally didn't even think about telling everyone! I got a whole bunch of credits that way over the summer. And I just posted about a dozen more DVD's!

Ok, so I just moved and cleaned out my bookshelf and posted a bunch of books on pbs and bm that I either didn't like or won't read...In 2 days I got 26 requests for books! I am going to go broke mailing them out! So I have a ton of points on BM so if anyone wants to get rid of any chic lit, i will mooch it!!

Ok, so I've decided not to order anymore books. I have waaay too many and I want to de-clutter my life.

With that said - I currently have 5 PBS credits (more to come) and 24 Bookmooch Credits that I want to try to sell. I'll see the PBS credits for $3 each and the Bookmooch credits for $2 each. I think Paypal payments would be easiest.

Also - I have decided to sell my Kindle. It's the newer version and I have a pink neoprene case/cover for it if anyone is interested. I know they're selling for $189 now so I was thinking how about $170? Again, Paypal would be easiest.

Just wanted to offer this items to everyone on here first before I offer to anyone else.

To be completely honest, I've been living beyond my means too much lately and I need the money. Plus, I really don't use it all that much. I've only ever read one whole book on it. I love it, but I'm not willing to pay $10 or more for the newer books when I can get them at the library or (as I've been doing) on a swapping website.

Stacy - I feel your pain. I am de-cluttering my bookshelves as well. I had to sort my books into 3 piles: books I know I'll love (Sophie Kinsella, Jennifer Weiner, Jane Green, etc.) books I'm excited to read because I've heard great things, and the books I picked up on a whim mostly because they were on sale and had pretty covers. I can only read from the whim pile because those are the books I swap on BM and PBS. Once those are gone THEN I can start on the excited pile. Plus my bf stands over me screaming "I'M GIVING IT ALL TO GOODWILL!!" That helps in wanting to downgrade my stacks!

I listed a bunch of books on BM and PBS over the last couple of weeks if anyone is interested.

I'm so tired of seeing sagging bookshelves, and I'm hopefully going to be moving sooner rather than later (once I find a house and go through all the hoops) - so I don't want to have to move all the books I've accumulated. I looked at my library and posted the books that I have that I can get there.
