Mergering books from different pages of the merger page

I was going to combine
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/18...
with
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/16...

However, they are on different pages of the merger page and there is no way to put check-boxes on both.

What we do in this case is to add a word or initials to the end of both titles i.e. I use my initial PJA then filter on that.

Combine the editions, then reedit each book to remove the word or initials added

Thanks Paula!! I've had problems with this as well, just never got around to asking about a work-around.
