Am I the only one who likes Aspen?

I don't get why everyone hates Aspen, to be honest I'm on team maxpen :D, people forget, Aspen and America were in love for two years, TWO YEARS before she met Maxon, Aspen was her first love, and that's something you can never replace, that person stays with you forever and everyone is always like Aspen just die! Why should he just try to forget about America she was his first love too and he is still deeply in love with her.

I don't get it either. Aspen is wonderful. I would rather she end up with him actually although both boys have good and bad aspects. Really I think they are both too good for America LOL

LOL agreed I mean I don't see all the fuss over Maxon espically since all the things in the elite like celeste really?! And people are no saying well after what he did I'm still on his team and I never liked aspen anyway

i wanted to like Aspen but i think that he has motives that our outside of the story line that we know him to be in right now. i think that he really does feel bad about how he handled things with America when she found out she was going into the Selection and now that he's stationed at the palace and gets to guard her it allows him a chance to get that back....so that's all nice and good but i think that he's not so squeaky clean here. i think that he's really out for himself or some rebel cause and that's really what i don't like .

what also bothers me is that he didn't want America to feel good about herself and what she could provide. she was in a position where she could provide money and stability to her household even when she was lowering herself by a class and he was too Prideful to really be ok with that. in my book, that makes me really not like him.

Good point. Points, I should say. I also think a shortened version of your second paragraph would be Aspen is plain JEALOUS of America and Maxon's relationship, although at this point I doubt there is one.

I think there are more than one person who loves Aspen, but if we took a survey of 15 people, I would suspect that 1 or 2 out of the 15 would like Aspen. Or none. I think there are Aspen-lovers, but very few.

I don't hate maxon but after what he did with celeste? I MEAN CELESTE?! Now I don't like him as much... Funny thing my sisters name is celeste :D
